Teacher's Day and Janmashtami

A special assembly on Teacher’s Day and Janmashtami was presented by the students of Teresa House on 5 September 2023, to commemorate the birth of the second President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a philosopher, a great teacher and ‘Natkahat Nand Lal’ who taught everyone principles of Good Karma and Bhakti.
The assembly commenced with a prayer, followed by a speech on Teacher’s day that not only provided an insight into the life of Dr.Radhakrishnan but also celebrated the teacher’s contribution in making the future generation responsible citizens of tomorrow. The cultural programme celebrated the birth of Shri Krishna and encapsulated his teachings through religious songs presented by senior students. Melodious Songs filled the atmosphere with devotion, allowing everyone to connect with the divine. Dance performance and skit made the day the most memorable one for the teachers.
The senior students presented titles to the teachers acknowledging the sincere efforts of each teacher whom they witnessed selflessly engaging to make their educational journey smooth and rewarding.
The winning students of Ripples Inter School Fest 2023 were awarded with prestigious trophies and certificates. The school secured First position in Swaralaya and Interlocutors’ Parely, Second in Eluminators and Canva -Newsletter and Third position in Ad Mad Show. Additionally, certificates were given to students for their involvement in club activities and the olympiad during the school assembly. Additionally three teachers of our school Ms. Babita Rangra, Ms. Juliet Anthony, and Ms. Parul Trivedi were honoured with appreciation letters from the School Principal as some of their students secured centum scores in CBSE class X Board Examination 2023. Furthermore, the contributions of Ms. Shiny Benjamin and Ms. Rishu Kaul to the International Dimension in School 22-25 (IFA- British Council) programme were duly acknowledged. Their dedication and efforts were honored with certificates, highlighting their valuable input to the programme.
It is worth mentioning that the School Principal, along with the institution itself, received a well-deserved appreciation certificate from the esteemed International Dimension in School 22-25 (IFA- British Council) programme.
This recognition serves as a testament to the school's commitment to excellence and its dedication to fostering a global perspective among its students.
The School Principal, Mr. Atul Wadhawan, reminded the students of the tireless labour and love that all the teachers put in to nurture them as knowledgeable and compassionate individuals.
It was a remarkable day for all the MBSians with many unforgettable moments.
The teachers applauded the overwhelming zeal and enthusiasm exhibited by the students for making such a glorious event a memorable one.The assembly concluded with the School Song and National Anthem .
The students also presented their teachers with beautifully handwritten cards and letters, filled with heartfelt wishes for Teachers' Day. These tokens of appreciation hold immense sentimental value and serve as cherished mementos, symbolizing the profound bond shared between teachers and students.
In a delightful twist, senior students embraced the role of teachers, stepping into the shoes of their mentors and assuming teaching responsibilities for the day. This fostered empathy and a deeper understanding of the dedication required to educate and nurture young minds.
The school honoured all teachers with gifts, aiming to create an unforgettable day for them. Subsequently, a delectable lunch was served to the esteemed educators.
Undoubtedly, the event proved to be a resounding success, leaving an indelible impression on each and every teacher.
