“Summer means happy times and good sunshine.”

                                         -Brian Wilson

On 12 May 2023, MBS International School organised various activities to  stimulate and challenge the students, who had to  adorn their thinking caps to complete these activities. The prime objective was to provide an opportunity to the participants to creatively express themselves.

Summer vacation is the best time of the year for children as they get an opportunity to explore new things. The Nursery and Kindergarten students celebrated ‘Summer Fun Day’ on the last day of school.

Children enjoyed playing outdoor games and made beautiful summer craft. To call it a day off, they watched a movie in the end and bid bye bye to their teachers and friends. The day culminated wherein the children grooved to the rhythm of the music. The smiles on the students’ faces were a proof of the grand success of the day.

Sports provide an excellent avenue for learning at any age, but they are particularly crucial for young students. Playing sports helps children acquire critical thinking skills. They can learn to solve problems, develop effective strategies, and cultivate confidence and abilities.Games are incredibly effective learning tools because they strike the perfect balance between enjoyment and challenge.
With all these considerations in mind, a ‘Ball Race’ activity was organised for the students of class II on 4 May 2023.
In the activity children were paired and guided not to hold or touch the ball with their hands. Therefore, children employed a variety of techniques, adhered to the rules and guidelines, and learned how to coordinate and synchronize with their partner to balance the ball until they reached the finishing point.
Overall, the activity provided an excellent opportunity for children’s growth and development.
