“Without Labour, nothing prospers.” -Sophocles
MBS International School Dwarka commemorated Labour Day by organising an event centered on the theme ‘Without labour, nothing prospers,’ which aimed to recognise and honour the dedicated work of the supporting staff members of the school.
Labour Day is an important occasion to raise awareness and appreciation for the pivotal role played by individuals who drive our economy forward. At our school, we strive to instill a culture of gratitude and respect for the labour force, which serves as the backbone of our society.
During the celebration, the teachers provided the students of Nursery and Kindergarten with a comprehensive overview of the historical significance of Labour Day. The students showed their sincere appreciation towards the supporting staff members, such as maids, drivers, guards, gardeners and electricians, through various activities, including imprinting their fingerprints on a card shaped like a flower. These activity symbolized their gratitude for the unwavering efforts of the supporting staff of the school.
Overall, this event helped in fostering kindness and respect in our students by recognising and honouring the valuable contributions of the labour force.
