 On Tuesday, 30 April 2024, MBS International School conducted ‘Paper Plate Craft’ (Rainbow Jellyfish) activity for class I students, where they showcased their artistic flair, by creating a Rainbow Jellyfish using paper plates. This craft not only allowed them to explore their creativity but also provided an opportunity to learn about marine life in an engaging manner. Through this hands-on activity, the students honed their fine motor skills and also learned about colours, patterns, and the importance of following instructions.

    The 'Self Portrait' activity was organised for Pre-Primary Wing of MBS International School, Dwarka on Monday, 29 April 2024. The activity allowed the students to explore their own features, characteristics, and individuality while also developing their fine motor skills. The children observed and analysed their own facial features and expressions before attempting to draw their self-portraits. Most of the students approached the activity with enthusiasm and excitement, eagerly sharing their portraits with their teachers and classmates. Some children were more focused on capturing accurate details, while others enjoyed using vibrant colours and imaginative interpretations of themselves. Overall, the self-portrait activity was a valuable learning experience for the students as it fostered a sense of self-expression and confidence in their own abilities..

      On 23 April 2024, MBS International School resonated with the celebration of individuality by conducting 'I am Unique' activity. In this activity, the Nursery students enthusiastically engaged in taking their handprints on the sheet and Kindergarten students eloquently expressed their uniqueness through heartfelt lines, each one adding a layer of depth to the tapestry of diversity.

      Through these endeavours, the school nurtured a culture where every child is encouraged to embrace their authenticity and celebrate the beauty of their own uniqueness.

        Marvellous Me – Self Introduction

        At MBS International School, we feel all the students are marvellous and full of energy, positivity and motivation. To foster the same feelings in our MBSians, an activity ‘Marvellous Me – Self Introduction’ was organised for the students of Class II on Thursday, 25 April 2024.

        The students expressed themselves freely about their hobbies, favourite cartoons, favourite games, favourite colours etc. They also used props to heighten the effect of their conversation.

        This activity was a fun way for students to get to know each other better and also helped to build a sense of community within the class.

          On 24th and 25th of April, Nursery and Kindergarten classes of MBS International School embarked on an engaging tour to explore different areas of the school and learn about the various facilities available to them. The tour was led by the teachers who guided the little ones around the campus and provided them with information about each location.

          The students started the tour from the playground, where they played on the swings, slides, and other equipment. They were excited to have the opportunity to run around and have fun in the open space. Next, the students visited the Medical room, where they were shown the different resources available. The teacher explained the importance of equipment and when they can be used. The students also visited the music room, Principal’s Office , Vice Principals’ Office, and Jr Headmistress’s Office. The students were also taken to an IT lab where they were informed about various parts of the computer. Finally, the students visited the cafeteria where they saw the different food options available for them.

          Overall, the school tour was a fun and educational experience for the Nursery and Kindergarten students. It helped them feel more comfortable and familiar with their school environment.

            On Tuesday, 23 April 2024, MBS International School organised a ‘Know Me Better' activity for class I students. This activity was conducted as a way for students to familiarise themselves with each other. Each student was given the opportunity to briefly introduce themselves, sharing their name, hobbies, likes and dislikes.

            Overall the activity was effective in breaking the ice and creating a more comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. It also helped to facilitate communication and establish a sense of unity among the students.

              MBS International School observed ‘Earth Day’ on April 22 2024, as a means to inculcate a sense of responsibility towards our planet among its youngest learners. During the commemoration, Nursery class students participated in a ‘Sponge Painting’ activity depicting the Earth, while Kindergarten students engaged in a 'Tearing and Pasting' activity centered around environmental themes. In a symbolic gesture, the children pledged to uphold environmental cleanliness and promote afforestation.

                To reinforce the concept of All about Me, I-Card Making activity was organised for the Preprimary Wing of MBS International School, Dwarka on Friday, 19 April 2024.

                The primary objective of the activity was to introduce young learners to a fun and creative way of understanding the importance of personal identification. The students decorated their I-Cards using different art supplies and had a great time writing their details on them.

                They were thrilled to wear their handmade I-cards, and this activity proved to be an effective way of mixing learning and creativity, making an indelible impression on the young MBSians.

                  On 16 April 2024, the students of Class I at MBS International School commemorated Earth Day by conducting a ‘Best Out Of Waste Activity,’ championing recycling and creativity as they fashioned inventive pen stands from repurposed materials such as CDs, bangles and ice cream sticks. Guided by teachers, they transformed waste into art, fostering environmental awareness and resourcefulness. Through this hands-on experience, students learned valuable lessons in sustainability and stewardship, echoing Gandhi ji’s wisdom to cherish and protect the planet.

                    On Monday, 15 April 2024, MBS International School immersed itself in a vibrant celebration of ‘Red Colour Day’, embracing the essence of passion and vitality.

                    The students from Nursery and Kindergarten embarked on a colourful journey of creativity and expression with joy and laughter. In the Nursery, young minds delved into the world of tearing and pasting, meticulously crafting apples out of crimson paper, while in the Kindergarten, the air was filled with excitement as children indulged in balloon printing to create enchanting flowers, a testament to their imagination and enthusiasm.

                    It was truly a memorable and fun-filled day for all the students that sparkled their curiosity and left them with cherished memories of the Red colour day.

                      MBS International School celebrated the vibrant and joyous festival of Baisakhi with great gusto and religious fervor. The special assembly was conducted on 12 April 2024, Friday by the students of Curie House to welcome the harvest season. The event brought together students, teachers, to commemorate this auspicious day that holds immense cultural and historical significance.The school premises was beautifully decorated with traditional motifs, creating a festive ambiance. An outstanding role play highlighting the historical and cultural significance of Baisakhi was staged by the students of class IV &V, educating everyone about the festival's origins and traditions. Students of senior wing sang traditional Baisakhi songs and played musical instruments which enthralled the students.The rhythm of bhangra resonated through the air. Students performed Bhangra on the beats of dhol. The speech was ­­­­­­­­delivered by a student of class X , elucidating the importance of Baisakhi in Indian culture and history, emphasizing values such as unity, harvest, and community spirit. Students and teachers came dressed in traditional attire, adding to the festive atmosphere. The Baisakhi celebration fostered cultural awareness, unity, and a sense of pride among students and staff. It provided a platform for everyone to come together, celebrate diversity, and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of India.The school Principal,Mr Atul Wadhawan addressed the assembly and told about the special significance of this harvest festival. The assembly concluded with the school song and national anthem.Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved, leaving lasting impressions of joy and camaraderie.

                        With great anticipation and enthusiasm, the new session at MBS International School commenced on 3 April 2024 for the students of Class I and II, embarking on a journey of learning, growth, and exploration. A variety of engaging activities and learning experiences were planned for the students on the first day which included some outdoor activities, art work, group work, storytelling sessions and some educational games and puzzles.                           On Monday, 08 April 2024, MBS International School organised an activity called ‘Move and Mingle’ for the students of Nursery and Kindergarten. It was a fun-filled day where the children got the opportunity to interact and socialise with their peers while indulging in some physical activities. The activity was a perfect blend of joyful experiences where the Nursery students introduced themselves and interacted with each other, while Kindergarten students were encouraged to make a card for their new friends. The enthusiasm and eagerness displayed by the children during the activity were remarkable and provided young learners with not only a day of enjoyment but also valuable social interaction.

                            On Monday, 01 April 2024, MBS International School organised ‘Acclimatization Day’ for the students of Nursery and Kindergarten. The goal of the day was to help them adapt to their new academic environment and to foster a sense of belonging for the school.

                            The day started off with a family photo shoot and many educational and fun filled activities to build teamwork, develop social skills and boost their confidence. Overall, the Acclimatization Day was a success as the students seemed happy and excited to start their new journey at MBS International School. We believe that this day helped them feel more comfortable and confident in their new environment, setting them up for a successful school year ahead.
