There is no better classroom than the outdoors, and on Tuesday, 8 September 2026, the students of Nursery and Kindergarten stepped out for a refreshing Nature Walk, ready to explore the sights, sounds and colours of the world around them.

The Nursery students explored the school garden with great excitement, observing plants, flowers and trees of different shapes, sizes and colours. They enjoyed touching the leaves, smelling the flowers and spotting little insects and birds along the way.

The Kindergarten students walked around the school garden, identifying different plants and learning simple facts about how they grow and why they need sunlight, water and air to survive. They also collected fallen leaves and enjoyed noticing the many different shades of green found in nature.

This refreshing outdoor session beautifully blended learning with nature, nurturing curiosity and a love for the environment among the students in a joyful and meaningful way.

Colours have a wonderful way of catching a child's attention, and on Monday, 7 September 2026, it was green that took centre stage through a cheerful Green Colour Hunt activity for the students of Nursery and Kindergarten.

The Nursery children began by hunting for green coloured objects tucked around their classroom, happily gathering toys, books and crayons wherever they spotted the colour green. They then gathered around a table filled with objects of many different colours and carefully picked out only the green ones, clapping with delight at every correct find.

The Kindergarten children enjoyed the very same hunt, scanning every corner of their classroom for anything green and proudly holding up their little discoveries. At a table piled with mixed-colour objects, they sorted through with sharp eyes and steady hands, beaming with pride each time they picked out the right shade of green.

This delightful activity sharpened the children's colour recognition and observation skills, filling the classroom with laughter, curiosity, and the fresh, lively spirit of green.

                                                     Flute Making Activity

To mark the joyous occasion of Janmashtami, MBS International School conducted a vibrant and engaging ‘Flute Making’ activity for Class I students on Tuesday, 1 September 2026. This special initiative was designed to help young learners understand how the flute is closely associated with Lord Krishna and his stories.

The session began with a storytelling activity about Lord Krishna’s life and the celebration of Janmashtami. Children were introduced to the idea that the flute is not just a musical instrument, but also a symbol of love, peace, and devotion in the stories of Lord Krishna.

Following the story session, students took part in a hands-on flute-making activity. Using paper rolls, colorful markers, decorative stickers, glitter tapes, and other craft materials, the children eagerly designed their own flutes. The activity allowed them to explore their imagination, practice fine motor skills, and take pride in their creative efforts.Overall, the Flute Making Activity was a delightful blend of art, tradition, and learning, giving students a chance to celebrate Janmashtami in a meaningful and memorable way.
