Dusshera Celebration

“Every Dussehra reminds us that in the battle between good and evil, goodness always wins in the end.” – Anonymous

MBS International School celebrated the festival of Dussehra with immense zeal and festive spirit on 26th September 2025 (Friday). The aim of the celebration was to spread awareness about the victory of good over evil and to make children learn about the values of truth, courage, and righteousness.

The celebration began with an introduction about the significance of Dussehra. A special highlight of the program was the Ravana-making craft activity done by our little MBSians, where children showcased their creativity. Adding to the liveliness of the event, students came dressed as various Ramayana characters such as King Dashrath, Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Sita, Hanuman, and Ravana.

The most awaited moment was the burning of Ravan’s effigy, which symbolized the eternal truth that good always triumphs over evil. The entire school, including students, teachers, and parents, actively participated and enjoyed the celebration. The program concluded with valuable lessons of honesty, bravery, and righteousness for children.
