Graba Raas
“Festivals are the celebration of togetherness and joy”
On 22 September 2025, the Nursery and Kindergarten students of MBS International School celebrated the colorful festival of Garba Raas with great enthusiasm and excitement. The event aimed to introduce young learners to the rich cultural heritage of India and spread the joy of the Navratri festival.
The children came dressed in vibrant and colorful garba attire such as Chania cholis and kurtas, adding charm to the celebration. The highlight of the event was the energetic Garba Raas dance, where students joyfully tapped their feet to the rhythmic beats of traditional Gujarati folk music. Teachers joined in too, making the atmosphere lively and full of festive spirit.
Children brought decorated dandiya sticks made from newspapers, and they danced in circles, swaying gracefully while learning simple steps. The school premises were filled with cheer, laughter, and music. Teachers guided the children, ensuring everyone could participate and enjoy.
The celebration not only brought smiles to young faces but also helped instill in them values of togetherness, happiness, and cultural pride.
Overall, the Garba Raas celebration was a resounding success, creating beautiful memories and spreading festive joy among students and teachers alike.
