Dear Parents
Keeping in mind the recent mishappening in various schools in Delhi-NCR, we have decided to further tighten the security measures in school for which we look forward to your co-operation.
1. All parents are requested to comply with the rules for entry/exit/ identity cards/ pick-up etc.
2. Parents / Guardians are requested to carry the parent I-card/ temporary I card (for those who have not received the permanent cards) whenever they visit the school.
3. Students will be handed over to the parents/ guardians during dispersal only after verifying the parent I card. If this takes time you are requested to be patient and cooperate with the concerned authorities.
4. For self-walkers, parents are requested to submit an affidavit in writing to the school that the complete responsibility of your ward?s safety after they leave the school is your own. The affidavit has to be submitted within a week?s time.
5. Student who is availing the school transport facility will not be allowed to leave the school as a self-walker.
6. You are requested to take prior appointment with the concerned person before you visit the school. You may use the almanac to schedule the appointment.
7. Please adhere to the timings mentioned in the school almanac in case you need to visit the school.
8. Please note that no student will be allowed inside the school premises before 7:45am.
9. For parents who have arranged their own transport for their wards, you are required to submit a copy of the latest police verification certificate done for the drivers.
10. Kindly keep a stringent watch on your wards time with smart phones and other electronic equipment with access to internet keeping in view the current situation about online games.
11. You are requested to have a conversation with your ward on stranger safety, Internet safety, assuring the child to speak up if something is troubling them and be aware of the behavior indicators that traumatized children may demonstrate.
12. You are also hereby informed that if any student is found to come to school in 2 wheelers, (except bicycles) their keys will be confiscated and it will not be returned to the student. You are also requested to ensure that your wards do not bring mobile phones or any other electronic equipment to the school. If any such item is found on your ward during checking, it will not be returned and shall be retained in school for the remaining part of the session.
13. You are requested to not argue with the school staff in their effort to keep your wards safe as these stringent measures are being taken to ensure your wards safety in school.
14. Instruct your ward to strictly adhere to the School Rules mentioned in the School Almanac.
15. All the parents are requested to follow the Guidelines mentioned for the parents in the School Almanac.
