Vegetable Printing(Scenery)
“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.” — Edgar Degas
To encourage hands-on creativity and experiential learning, a Vegetable Printing Activity was organised for the students of Class II on 04 December 2025 at MBS International School. The objective of the activity was to help children explore patterns, textures, and designs through natural materials while enjoying an engaging art experience.
The young learners participated with great enthusiasm, using vegetables such as potatoes, ladyfinger, carrots, capsicum, and onions to create beautiful prints. Each child experimented with different colours and shapes, displaying creativity and imagination as they produced vibrant designs that showcased their artistic abilities.
The activity not only strengthened their fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination, and sense of colour, but also introduced them to the concept of using everyday objects for artistic expression. It fostered curiosity, sensory development, and confidence in working with new materials.
Overall, the Vegetable Printing Activity was a joyful and enriching experience that filled the classroom with excitement, colour, and creativity.
