Power Point Presentation “Own a Monument”
An intra-class activity on the theme “Own a Monument” (PPT Presentation) was organised by MBS International School on Wednesday, 8 April 2026, for the students of Class XII. The activity aimed to promote awareness about heritage conservation.
Students were instructed to select a historical monument of India and prepare a PowerPoint presentation. They researched various aspects such as the historical background, architectural features, cultural significance, and present condition of the monument. They also highlighted issues such as pollution, vandalism, and neglect, and suggested measures for preservation.
The presentations were delivered in class, where students confidently explained how they would take responsibility for protecting the monument as responsible citizens. The activity provided a meaningful platform for students to explore and present their ideas creatively through digital presentations, combining informative content with visual elements to make their work engaging and impactful.
The presentations reflected a wide range of monuments, highlighting their historical importance, architectural beauty, and cultural significance. Students also addressed issues such as preservation, environmental impact, and the role of citizens in safeguarding heritage.
Each presentation showcased originality, clarity, and a strong sense of responsibility towards protecting our monuments. Students effectively communicated their ideas with confidence and conviction.
Overall, the activity proved to be an enriching learning experience that went beyond a classroom exercise. It fostered awareness, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation of our rich cultural heritage, reminding everyone that preserving monuments is a shared responsibility for present and future generations.
