ISKCON TEMPLE

MBS International School strives to take learning beyond classroom. Thereby to promote the holistic development of the children, the school organised an Educational Excursion to ISKCON Temple, Dwarka for the students of Nursery and Kindergarten on Wednesday, 18 October 2023. The students were familiarized with the concept of neighborhood places and spent their time in the calm and serene environs of the temple. They were encouraged to sing and dance on the chants of ‘Hare Krishna Hare Rama’ followed by the ‘Gallery Walk’ where pictures from various Iskcon temples and Lord Krishna’s life were displayed. Delicious prasad was also served which was relished by the young devotees. The visit was highly  appreciated and enjoyed by our little ones and is an apt example of learning beyond the classrooms.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SESSION 2022-23

TRIP TO JAIPUR

“Travel, is a part of education and a part of experience.”

The MBS International School organised an educational trip for Classes IX – XII to Jaipur and Chokhi Dhani from 26 September, 2022-28 September, 2022. The trip comprising 76 students under the care of nine school staff members got the opportunity to witness the resplendent beauty of the famous Pink city. 
The first day, the group visited Amber Fort, Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal, reminiscing the glory of the historic monuments. They also visited City Palace and Jantar Mantar, the marvellous architectural wonders, monuments to inspire your senses.
The students thoroughly enjoyed exploring these intriguing sites.
The forthcoming days, they visted Albert Hall Museum, an educational and an interesting endeavour to teach history, to our students.  The trip was resplendent with visits, camaraderie and loads of fun, eternally captured in memories and Snapshots.

It was indeed a memorable trip, thoroughly enjoyed and savoured by all.

SESSION 2018-19

VISIT TO NATIONAL SCIENCE CENTRE, DELHI

An educational trip was organized by the MBS International School to the National Science Centre, Delhi for the students of class IX & XI on December 24, 2018.The visit proved to be a great way to arouse curiosity in the minds of school students and was a thrilling and motivating experience. 
The students took a tour of the following galleries- Water- The Elixir of life, Hall of Nuclear Power, Our Science and Technology Heritage, Human Biology, Pre-Historic life , Fun Science, Information Revolution, Emerging Technologies-Space Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Medical and Biotechnology, Oceanography and Earth Sciences, Agricultural Technology, Material Science, Nanotechnology, Energy and Transportation Technology. The galleries showcased a plethora of exhibits that covered various topics. 
Magic tap, stingless piano, Tesla coils, energy ball, marine and freshwater aquariums were the main attractions at the Science Centre. 
The students watched a 3D movie on Life of Dinosaurs. Watching the movie was a great learning experience. 
The Science Centre procured a world of wonder and amazement with 137 interactive ‘hands-on’ exhibits. The students were excited to observe certain exhibits like Wrestling the Gorilla Arm, Virtual Makeup, Find the Direction of Sound, Walking through the Mirror Maze, Infinity Well, Animated Dinosaurs, responding to electric shock, lifting a lid against an Electromagnet and many others caught the attention of students instantly and they thoroughly enjoyed being part of these fun filled activities.

 
 

 


VISIT TO SPORTS COMPLEX


MBS International School organized an effective educational trip on Thursday, December 13, 2018 to DDA sports complex Dwarka for students that helps facilitate fast and efficient learning method. This was a wonderful opportunity for students to take a break from the classroom lecture and to have some fun and excitement in an entirely new environment while learning at the same time.
The students reached the park by school buses and spent the day enjoying the swings and rides. They also participated in the various games, which were especially organized for them by their teachers at the venue. The students were also told the importance of keeping the surroundings and the venue clean by not littering around. They were encouraged to throw all wrappers and used packets into the garbage bin provide at the spot. The students were accompanied by their teachers and the support staff. The happy smiles on the students’ faces were a proof of the fun filled day spent at the sports complex.

 
EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO NATIONAL MUSEUM


The Heritage Club took the initiative for the MBSians from grade VIII and IX to visit the National Museum, New Delhi on October31, 2018. 
The students left for museum with lot of enthusiasm and vigour.
The Museum houses variety of articles ranging from pre-historic era to modern works of art. It has around 200,000 works of art, both of Indian and Foreign origin. 
The National museum showcased a magnificent miniature of Harappan Civilization, excavated tools, toys, statues, utensils, jewellery, etc. 
The other attractions of the gallery were Late medieval art, Indian miniature paintings, manuscripts, epigraphy, arms and armour.
Students learned about the disciplines of art, Indian traditions and culture.The whole experience was like moving on a time machine and being the part of history.

 

VISIT TO MC DONALDS

Excursions provide a constant and a wide familiarity with all forms of human development. A visit to McDonald’s was organized for the pre-school students of the MBS International School on September 27, 2018. Students were excited and contended. McDonald’s Staff acquainted the students about their favourite meal and it helped them to develop their aesthetic sense. By such excursion, students were captivated in exploring their neighborhood. They got their meal packs and left the place with a heart filled memories having colourful balloons in their hands. It was a joyful, and fun-filled day for our little shining stars.

 

"Visit To Railway Museum"

The curriculum & school environment is not only the criteria for the overall development of the child. The outside exposure is also important for the holistic growth as well as for the personality development of the child.Classroom teaching should be supplemented with extra-curricular activities & excursion trip. To ensure the same MBS International School organizes a field trip to “Railway Museum”on September 28,2018. They were greeted by a huge engine at the gate & a squeal of excitement shot through the group. Further down at the museum children got even more excited to see exhibits of wagons,coaches & engines displayed in the exhibition hall. The children were briefed priorly in the classroom about the railway in our country,how it was developed & in what scale it is operated in modern day India.Now they saw first-hand,samples of carefully preserved engines & the coaches from the various phases of evolution. Needless to say the train joyride was a highlight.The excursion was followed up with each child creating a drawing of his/her image of the museum based on their perception.This enhanced their imagination & observation skills.

 

 

 

"VISIT TO AERO-PLANET"

A fun filled and educational excursion to Aero Planet ,Dwarka New Delhi was organized for pre-primary students of MBS International School on 31-07-2018.It was a great learning experience for the students as they saw the Airbus A-300(airplane) which was positioned by Aero-Planet in collaboration with Centre Of Civil Aviation Training.It was a thrilling experience for the children to sit in the real Airbus A-300.They also got exposure to the functioning of aircrafts.Students got the rarest opportunity to see the cockpit and cargo compartment.Their excitement touched the sky as they undertook the activities like ropeway and free dance.They were also shown magic show.The tiny-tots returned with eyes full of dreams of becoming a pilot,an airplane engineer or an airline member.

To take ‘learning’ outside the classroom and fun filled at the same time, children are taken on adventure camps, trips, Educational tours to NATIONAL BAL BHAWAN, DOLL MUSEUM, NATIONAL SCIENCE CENTRE, NATIONAL RAIL MUSEUM and many more. To instill values and develop empathy, to sensitize our children towards less fortunate ones, visit to old age homes, orphanages and NGO‘s and institutes working as rehabilitation centre for differently abled and the physically challenged children are planned, where they spend time with the members and engage them in fun and frolic games.

VISIT TO LOHAGARH FARMS


“What is life but a grand adventure.” To expose our children to the raw, ethnic village setup, MBS International School, Dwarka had a fun day out with children of classes vi to viii on December 7, 2019 to Lohagarh Farms. It was a village set up with lots of fun activities which was new and exciting for the children. Our children thoroughly enjoyed different games like carom, dart game, air gun at the farm. Students were delighted to explore the old rustic life and acquired more information about it. They had a great time exploring new activities like archery, lattoo, pottery etc.. The children also had a great time rolling the chakki and charkha. They learnt how cloth is woven from the charkha and how grains are put in the chakki and flour is made. The highlight of the trip was the camel and tractor ride. They even danced merrily to the tunes of bhangra numbers. The trip was a memorable one, which encouraged the students to keep alive the memories of our old legacy.






 

 

 

 

 

VISIT TI AIRFORCE MUSEUM

 

On October 4, 2019 students of Grade I & II went on an excursion to the Indian Air Force Museum located at the Palam Air Force Station.

The Air Force Museum, the only one of its kind in India, houses a rich collection of memorabilia of Indian military aviation and has an extensive display of the history of the Indian Air Force. In fact the experience was a great treat for the aviation-enthusiasts amongst our students who got a first-hand familiarisation with equipment and history, from when Indian aviators flew for the Royal Flying Corps during the First World War to the Kargil operation. Photographs, mementoes, souvenirs, models and specimen of real aircraft provided a rare peak into our glorious flying past.

 

The museum showcased the very best of what the Indian Air Force has stood for in, both, war and peace. Its compilation is, in itself, a lasting tribute to hundreds of people, who, in their own way contributed to build a glorious tradition.

The excursion was a novel learning experience for the children, as they were introduced to airplanes and armory connected with the rich history of the Indian Air force. The students thoroughly enjoyed the day and returned to the school with wonderful memories and refreshing spirit.


















VISIT TO KIDZANIA

‘The best way of learning about anything is by doing.’ The objective of education is to prepare the young ones for their holistic development. With this perspective in mind, MBS International School organised an excursion to Kidzania for the students of Grades III - V on October 5, 2019 . Unlike any traditional theme park Kidzania provides an environment that empowers the children to explore the wide and amazing world. It is a Global Indoor Entertainment and Learning Center for students that emulates the working of a real city built to scale for children.The students were ready to take up any challenge that came their way to earn Kidzos. It provided first hand experience of different occupations and careers that they could explore. Kidzania had mini set ups for dominos, petrol pump, big bazaar, salons etc. The students indulged in various activities which stimulated their creative thinking and boosted their self confidence. Through this experience, they also learnt real life values, social skills and team work.



VISIT TO RAIL MUSEUM

Field trips give students educational experiences away from their regular school environment. Excursions form a vital part of a child’s education. They expose a child to a range of different experiences and provide Hands-On Learning The students were amazed to see a huge engine at the entrance gate; Students were enthralled to see the exhibits of wagons, coaches and engines displayed in the exhibition hall. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the toy train ride and were particularly thrilled when the train passed through the tunnel. Students came back with a pandora box of knowledge, which made the excursion fruitful and joyous.

 VISIT TO KINGDOM OF DREAMS

MBS International School, Dwarka organized a fun filled excursion to Kingdom of Dreams for all the teachers on January 11, 2019. The place offered India’s art, heritage, cuisine, and performing arts in one sprawling complex. The Kingdom of Dreams complex is pitched as India's first live entertainment, theatre, and leisure destination, which offered a unique opportunity to witness the magic that India holds within.

Teachers went through the 'Culture Gully', which is the arts and food boulevard at the complex. There, themed restaurants and kitchens representing the cuisine and architecture of the 14 states of India were all contained under a beautiful sky dome. In a unique yet endearing way, the teachers had an opportunity to witness the states of India come to life.
