Read Aloud Session
“Every picture tells a story, and every little word opens a world of imagination.”
A Read Aloud Session was conducted for the Nursery students on 30 September 2026 with the aim of nurturing their early language skills, enhancing vocabulary, developing listening abilities and encouraging creative expression through picture reading.
During the session, students were shown colourful and engaging story books and encouraged to observe, identify familiar objects, recognise actions and describe what they saw in simple words and sentences. With gentle guidance and prompting from the teacher, the students tried to frame small sentences based on the pictures, expressing their thoughts and ideas with growing confidence.
The interactive session provided an opportunity for students to develop their observation skills, improve vocabulary, enhance speaking abilities and build confidence in verbal expression. The enthusiastic participation of the students made the session joyful, engaging and meaningful.
The Picture Reading Session proved to be a delightful learning experience, encouraging young learners to explore the world of words, express their imagination and take their first little steps towards effective communication.
