Hula Hoop Race

On 22 and 23 July 2025, MBS International School conducted a thrilling and energetic intra-class activity titled "Hula Hoop Race" for the students of Nursery and Kindergarten, focusing on the theme of fitness through fun.
The event began with a cheerful warm-up, where students were introduced to the hula hoop as both a toy and a fitness tool. Teachers explained the rules of the race in a playful and engaging manner, ensuring every student felt excited and confident to participate.
Students took turns racing with hula hoops—either by rolling them, jumping through them, or carrying them to the finish line. The track was filled with laughter, cheers, and encouraging words as students gave their best in every round.
This playful racing activity aimed to boost gross motor skills, balance, and body coordination, while also nurturing a sense of healthy competition and sportsmanship. Bright-coloured hoops and fun-filled races made the atmosphere lively and joyful.
Teachers motivated and guided the students throughout the activity. Each student's effort was celebrated, and the focus remained on participation, not just winning—making sure that every student felt proud and included.
The Hula Hoop Race was a delightful blend of movement, learning, and joy. It brought out the students’ energy, enthusiasm, and team spirit, leaving them with wide smiles and a memorable day of playful learning.
