      Policy Preview Presentation

An intra-class activity on the theme “Policy Preview Presentation” was organised by MBS International School on 29 April, 2026 for the students of Class XII. The aim of Policy Preview Presentation introduces a forward-looking policy framework aimed at driving inclusive growth, innovation, and sustainable development. From *social view*, students evaluate a policy by looking at how it changes people’s lives, behaviour, and community well-being — whether it promotes fairness, improves health and safety, or creates hardship for certain groups. From an *economic view*, they assess the policy’s costs and benefits: direct expenses to government and citizens, impact on jobs and industries, changes in prices, and long-term effects on productivity and growth. By combining both lenses, students judge if the policy balances social equity with economic efficiency, who gains and who loses, and whether the overall outcome for society is positive and sustainable. Students respond to the policy review activity with great enthusiasm and maturity. They actively research, collaborate, and present thoughtful arguments, showing strong analytical and communication skills. The activity builds real-world understanding, boosts confidence in public speaking, and helps them appreciate how economics shapes everyday life. Overall, the activity proved to be an enriching learning experience that enhanced creativity, critical thinking, and awareness, making the study of policy more meaningful and enjoyable.

Each group discussed key points such as the benefits of healthcare access, prevention of diseases, reduced medical costs, and equality in treatment. We also included examples of vaccination, regular checkups, emergency care, and maternal health services. My group designed slides with clear headings, images, and short messages to make the presentation attractive and informative. We used slogans like “Health for All” and “No One Should Be Left Behind.” Charts and statistics were also added to make the message stronger. After completing the presentations, each group presented their PPT in front of the class.
