On Tuesday, 5 August 2025, MBS International School joyfully conducted a creative ‘Origami Paper Boat Making’ activity for the students of Class I. The young minds dived into the delightful world of origami, transforming simple square sheets into charming paper boats through folding, creasing, and careful handling.

With vibrant colored papers in hand and guided by their teachers, the little ones enthusiastically folded their boats, letting their creativity set sail. Giggles and excitement filled the classroom as each child proudly displayed their floating masterpiece, hopping eagerly from one fold to another.

Adding to the delight was the monsoon season, which perfectly complemented the paper boat theme. The pitter-patter of raindrops outside created a magical ambiance inside the classroom. Children fondly connected the activity to real-life memories of watching paper boats float in puddles, making the experience even more relatable and joyful. The seasonal charm brought the lesson to life, blending nature, art, and imagination beautifully.

The colorful paper boats became treasured tokens of joy, reminding the students of this enriching and hands-on experience. This engaging activity not only encouraged imaginative expression but also significantly improved the children’s fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and focus. It was truly a fun-filled voyage into the sea of creativity!

To make learning joyful and experiential, MBS International School organized a special activity titled “Splashing into Monsoon” for Nursery and Kindergarten students held on 4th August 2025. The activity aimed to introduce the little ones to the Monsoon season in a fun, engaging, and interactive way.

Children learned about monsoon weather, clouds, rain, puddles, and rainy-day essentials such as umbrellas, raincoats, and gumboots. Teachers used storytelling, songs, and visual aids to enhance their understanding and spark curiosity.

As part of the hands-on experience, students enthusiastically participated in spray painting and cotton dabbing using brushes and cotton balls. It was heartwarming to see their excitement as they splashed into learning with joy and wonder.

The activity beautifully blended fun, learning, and sensory exploration, leaving behind sweet memories and vibrant artwork.
