Graduation Ceremony

The Graduation Day ceremony shines as a beacon of joy and achievement for little stars, marking the culmination of their Pre-Primary journey. It's a thrilling milestone for Pre-primary champs, heralding their first steps into a world brimming with promise and potential. As they embark on this new chapter, their school life unfolds with fresh horizons of knowledge and learning. To celebrate the progress of tiny tots and to mark their progression, MBS International School celebrated Graduation Day on Saturday, 02 March 2024. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guests, Commander Piyush Gaur for Slot- I and Ms. Shwetal Jain, Principal of Kidzee and Mount Litera Zee School for Slot - II, who showered praise upon petite graduates for their remarkable feats.
The ceremony commenced with the radiant glow of the ceremonial lamp, lit by our honoured guests alongside the esteemed School Advisor Ms Niti Kapoor , Principal, Mr. Atul Wadhawan and other dignitaries. A mesmerizing rendition of 'Saraswati Vandana' by the students set the stage on fire, captivating the audience with their synchronised grace and charm. Parents couldn't resist swaying to the lively beats, buoyed by the students' infectious energy. Young talents took center stage with a captivating portrayal of 'The Pied Piper of Hamelin', showcasing confidence and charisma that left spectators spellbound. Then came the pinnacle of the celebration: the KG Graduation. The delighted faces of budding graduates were met with thunderous applause as they received scrolls of merit, symbolising their readiness to conquer new milestones ahead. It was truly a day of jubilation and cherished memories as our little ones proudly accepted their Graduation certificates from our guests. With hearts full of pride and eyes shining with dreams, they embark on their next adventure, poised to conquer the world with their boundless potential.
The 2024 Graduation Day symbolised hope and the transformative power of education. As graduates embark on their journeys, their light will brighten the path to endless possibilities. Farewell Report: Class XII Bid Adieu by Class XI

“Every end is a new beginning.”

 

The Farewell programme was organized at MBS International School on 3 February 2024 for the outgoing class XII students. The event which was meticulously hosted by the students of class XI showcased a blend of emotions, talent, and nostalgia.

 The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of a bright future. The warm glow of the flames mirrored the collective spirit of both classes, creating an ambiance of unity and togetherness. The welcome speech by the Class XI students set the tone for the evening, expressing gratitude, admiration, and anticipation of carrying forward the legacy left by their seniors. The eloquent words resonated with sincerity, creating an emotional connection with the departing class.
 

The cultural fiesta unfolded with a mesmerizing welcome dance. The rhythmic movements and vibrant costumes captivated the audience, setting the stage for the enchanting afternoon ahead. The soulful song presentation was a beautiful melody that echoed sentiments of friendship and memories shared.  The skit added with a touch of humour and creativity not only entertained but also showcased their appreciation for the memorable moments and quirks of Class XII. The laughter that ensued was a testament to the shared experiences that made the journey unforgettable. The title and memento presentation were a moment of honour and acknowledgment. Each title and memento carried a story of growth, resilience, and success. A lively dance performance by Class XI infused energy into the atmosphere, celebrating the spirit of youth and vitality. The rhythmic beats and synchronized movements were a fitting tribute to the outgoing class.

 The highlight of the evening was the ramp walk by Class XII students. They gracefully strutted down the runway dressed in elegant attires, exuding confidence and style. The applause and cheers from the audience echoed the admiration and respect for the departing seniors.
 The emotional pinnacle of the evening arrived with the speeches by the Head Girl and Head Boy of Class XII. Their words were not just a farewell but a reflection of the values, lessons, and aspirations that defined their time in the school. Their heartfelt expressions left an indelible mark on everyone present. Adding a touch of gratitude, the students of Class XII, in a heartfelt gesture, presented a collective gift to the school as a token of appreciation for the nurturing environment they experienced.
 

The School Vice Principal, Ms. Nandita Sikarwar addressed the gathering, acknowledging the achievements of Class XII and encouraging Class XI to carry the torch of excellence forward. The words of wisdom resonated with the audience, inspiring them to embrace the challenges and opportunities ahead.

The announcement of the 'Galaxy of Stars' recognized outstanding achievements in academics, was given by the School Principal, Mr. Atul Wadhawan and the proud recipients stood tall, embodying the school's commitment to holistic development.  The following titles were given to the following deserving students of class XII.

The spirit of patriotism and unity echoed through the air as Tagore House took the lead in organizing a spectacular Republic Day Special Assembly at MBS International School on 25 January 2024. The event was a grand celebration of the 75th Republic Day of India, commemorating the day when the Constitution of India came into effect. The entire school gathered in the meticulously decorated school ground, adorned with tricolour flags and banners, creating a festive and patriotic ambiance.

The ceremony began with the hoisting of the national flag by the school principal, Mr. Atul Wadhawan, accompanied by the national anthem. This momentous occasion was followed by an impressive march past and band performance, showcasing discipline, precision, and a strong sense of national pride.
A solemn prayer for the well-being and prosperity of the nation set the tone for the assembly. Following the prayer, a thought-provoking message emphasizing the values of democracy, equality, and justice was shared with the audience.
The assembly continued with the presentation of current news headlines, keeping the students informed about the world around them. The atmosphere then transformed with soulful poem recitations that beautifully captured the essence of the Republic Day and its significance.
A well-prepared speech was delivered by a student highlighting the importance of unity in diversity, a fundamental aspect of India's cultural tapestry. The speech emphasized the strength that comes from embracing differences and working together as a harmonious society.
The cultural extravaganza unfolded with a mesmerizing song and dance performance on the theme of 'Unity in Diversity.' The students showcased the rich cultural heritage of India through various dance forms and melodious songs, celebrating the mosaic of traditions that make the nation unique. The play presented perfectly by the enthusiastic participants reverberated with the fervour of patriotism.
The Republic Day Special Assembly was a resounding success, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of all present. Sports Day : A Celebration of Unity and Achievement

MBS International School celebrated its Annual Sports Day, SPORTANIA 2023 on December 23, 2023 which embodied the zeal, talents and spirit of sportsmanship of our young champions who were ‘mastered to succeed’.

School's Sports Day unfolded a medley of fervour and skill. The day commenced with the School Band's vibrant welcome of the esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma, Member of Parliament (MP), West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, in the gracious presence of the School Manager, Ms. Gurleen Kaur, School Advisor, Ms. Niti Kapoor, School Principal Mr. Atul Wadhawan, School Vice Principal, Junior Headmistress and Coordinators, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement. In a symbolic gesture, the Chief Guest planted a Sapling, emphasizing the commitment of the school to environmental consciousness and growth.

The release of colourful balloons added a festive touch to the occasion, symbolizing the collective aspirations of the school community soaring high.

The grand Opening Ceremony, graced by the Chief Guest, dignitaries from Management, teachers, parents and students was a captivating rendezvous comprising captivating cultural phenomenon and a show of sportsmanship by contingents of March past, accompanied by the School Band.

The School Orchestra mesmerized the audience with a captivating presentation: Symphony, skillfully coordinating each note and instrument. Their dedication to musical excellence shone through, creating a spellbinding atmosphere and leaving an enduring impression on the audience.

The mega sports event brought together around 1300 students of classes III to XII to participate in an array of games such as Rhythmic Yoga, Football Skills, Dumbbell Drill, Taekwondo, Cricket Skills, Ball Drill, Rope Skipping, Skating and the dynamic Zumba - Art in Motion. Each presentation reflected the students' dedication, skill, and enthusiasm, creating an atmosphere of celebration and sportsmanship. The playground transformed into an arena of dreams, where cheers echoed and the spirit of competition soared. It was a day of races and victories; a celebration of dedication, where every jump, sprint, and cheer unfolded a tale of determination.

Parents also actively participated in the Parents Fun Race, contributing to the joyous and inclusive spirit of the day. The Prize Distribution ceremony recognized and celebrated the sports champions for their outstanding achievements, inspiring others to strive for excellence, the school especially honoured and recognized Shaurya Dutta (Class XI) for his outstanding achievement. He was presented with a special trophy acknowledging his remarkable feat of earning five gold medals and setting a new global standard in the under-17 category by lifting an impressive 177 kg. in Russia International Body Building Competition. Teresa House proudly clinched the Best Contingent Award a testament to their unity, discipline and stellar performance. The Chief Guest commended the efforts of the students and emphasized the values of determination and sportsmanship.

Christmas Celebration

Christmas brings with itself the special message of hope,happiness, joy and merriment!

With this thought, a special assembly was conducted by the students of Curie House on 19 December 2023. 

The boundless joy of celebrating this festival was quite evident on the faces of each child and red and white colour spread throughout the whole school .

The joyous Christmas assembly commenced with a solemn holy prayer, seeking blessings for this festive occasion.The carols, skillfully sung by both  junior and senior curie house  students, weave a melodic tapestry around the theme of glory, filling our hearts with warmth and Christmas spirit amongst the audience.These students dressed in Christmas colours of  red and white delivering a message of peace and harmony around the world touched everyone's heart.

This was followed by a speech and poem on the Christmas theme that resonated the essence of love and joy. A marvelous roleplay performed by students of class V portrayed the life and values of helping each other, exemplifying the true meaning of Christmas.

The dance by our tiny tots from class I and II  added a delightful touch that showcased their enthusiasm and innocence. Students tapped their feet and danced gracefully on the beat of Christmas songs.  

Words of Wisdom were spoken by the House Mistress which guided everyone  the true meaning of  Christmas and encouraged them to experience the power of sharing and helping others.

To conclude, Christmas assembly was a delightful event, filled with festive spirit and joyful performances.It successfully brought together the school community, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere that marked the joyous season.

Revels 2023 – An Inter School Fest

MBS International School, Dwarka believes in providing innumerable opportunities to students to sap their intellectual competence with creative endeavours and literary accomplishments. Our school takes immense pride in hosting an event that not only showcases the vibrancy and talent within our walls but also serves as a platform for shared experiences and collective joy.

On Wednesday 20 December 2023, MBS International School, Dwarka opened its gates and heart to welcome little stars in Revels 2023 - An Inter School Fest that transcends the ordinary and invites us to delve into the enchanting world of Disneyland. The theme itself evokes a sense of wonder, nostalgia, and boundless imagination, and we were thrilled to embark on this magical journey.

The kids were extremely excited to see a wide variety of Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Cinderella, Donald Duck etc. It was a treat to watch tiny little bunch of children participating with so much confidence and enthusiasm in different activities such as Tiny Tune Showcase, Fun Race- Zig Zag Run, Magical Molding, Jungle Jamboree and so on.

The event also served as a platform for students and parents of children going to play school to experience the structure & working of formal school environment.

GENERATIONS UNITE: GRANDPARENTS' DAY CELEBRATION AT MBS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

MBS International School's Grandparents' Day, hosted at Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Auditorium in Delhi Cantt, unfolded as a canvas of familial love and cultural richness. The gathering was graced by the presence of students, parents, and grandparents alike. A confluence of tradition and talent, the event, held on November 25, 2023, showcased a harmonious blend of youthful exuberance and cherished heritage.
The distinguished presence of Chief Guest Prof. Bijay Dash and Guest of Honour Mr. J.R. Meena and Mr. Manish Singh, alongside the School Chairman, Neeti Kapoor madam, School Manager, School Principal and Vice Principal, added grandeur to the occasion. All the dignitaries were welcomed by giving a guard of honour by the School Band Students.The sacred Lamp Lighting ceremony, an ode to Goddess Saraswati, commenced the cultural festivities, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge.
The event commenced with eloquent expressions of linguistic diversity as students spoke in Dogri, Manipuri, Tamil, and Gujarati, establishing a vibrant tone for the day. Musical renditions, School Orchestra and poetic recitals by students were met with applause. A heartfelt dance performance dedicated to grandparents, coupled with the captivating musical drama "Retro - Then & Now," left the audience spellbound.
Grandparents' active participation in a specially curated performance added a delightful dimension of joy, fostering emotional connections. The event concluded with the profound addresses by the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour, underscoring the irreplaceable role of grandparents in the family framework.
This celebration, a synthesis of cultural heritage and contemporary expression, garnered wholehearted acclaim from the audience, making it a poignant and fulfilling experience for all. MBS DUSSHERA ASSEMBLY: CELEBRATING THE TRIUMPH OF GOOD OVER EVIL

MBS International School's commemoration of Dussehra on October 20, 2023, was an exuberant display of cultural richness and enthusiasm. The special assembly, hosted by the students of Tagore House, was a vibrant display of traditions that unified students from Classes Nursery -XII, teachers, and management in celebrating the timeless victory of good over evil.

Commencing with the sacred Gayatri Mantra, the assembly featured an inspiring speech underlining the significance of Dussehra and the paramount importance of virtuous conduct. The day's thought urged all  to introspect on the values of truth, courage, and compassion. Poem recitations gracefully wove together the festival's theme, while young students from Pre Primary brought to life characters from the Ramayana.

The resonant voices of School Choir filled the air as they harmonized, epitomizing the festive joy and cultural fervour of Durga Puja and Dussehra. A spirited dance celebrated the vibrant customs and rituals of Dussehra, followed by a compelling role-play depicting the triumph of righteousness over evil.

Ravana Dahan was a symbolic reminder to incinerate ego, hatred, and anger, akin to the effigy of Ravana, on this auspicious occasion. Mr. Atul Wadhawan, the School Principal, lauded the students for their active participation, emphasizing the significance of cultural celebrations within the school.

This Dussehra Special Assembly left an indelible mark, reiterating the importance of upholding values and embracing our rich cultural heritage. 14 October 2023, MBS International School Dwarka organised PTM for classes VI-VIII along with an Educational Exhibition. It was a remarkable showcase of scientific ingenuity and curiosity, a thought-provoking exploration of societal dynamics and human experiences. The event aimed to promote the spirit of scientific inquiry, and innovation and encourage critical thinking. It featured a diverse range of exhibits and interactive displays that captured the imagination of visitors. Notable exhibits included the successful launch of Chandrayaan 3 which was captivating. The students presented a wide array of innovative models. It also showcased historical artifacts, documents, and interactive displays that provided a deeper understanding of our collective history, culture, and heritage.

The exhibition encouraged interactive learning. It was not limited to students but also engaged parents. Apart from models, the students also organised visual presentations to help everyone understand the concepts of their working models. It encouraged parents to actively participate in their child’s education and allowed them to witness the school’s commitment to holistic learning. The Educational Exhibition also helped the students build the ability for teamwork and cooperation among themselves. The Science Exhibition showcased the wonders of Scientific Discovery and the Social Science Exhibition encouraged reflection on the human experience. The event served as a reminder of the importance of both scientific progress and social awareness in our world.

The Educational Exhibition, held at MBS International School on October 07, 2023, during the Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM), was an outstanding success. This event served as a platform for students from classes III to V and IX to XII to showcase their ingenious and innovative talents. With a primary focus on Science, Social Science, and Computer models, students had the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of various subjects.
 
The Educational Exhibition provided an outstanding opportunity for students to present their projects, fostering a spirit of curiosity and learning. It encouraged students to apply their theoretical knowledge to practical, real-world scenarios.
 
The exhibition featured a wide range of science and A.I./Computer working models, as well as  social science models . One of the attractions of the exhibition was the presentation of the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3  along with the young and confident astronauts.
The exhibition showcased an impressive array of models, demonstrating the versatility of our students' skills and interests. It was truly heartening to witness students taking full ownership of their projects. They explained their models with enthusiasm and confidence, showcasing a deep understanding of their subjects. Parents actively engaged with their children's projects, providing a collaborative learning experience during the PTM.
 
The Educational Exhibition at MBS International School was a remarkable showcase of the students' academic prowess and creativity. Our honourable Principal Sir, Shri Atul Wadhawan has appreciated the efforts of all the students, teachers, admin team and of course all the parents who have actively played their role in the successful conduction of this educational exhibition. The exhibition has reinforced the school's commitment to holistic education, fostering a love for learning and critical thinking among the students. This exhibition not only provided a platform for students to display their talents but also ignited a passion for learning and exploration.                                    SANGHARSH SE SAWARAJ TAK-JIVAN DARSHAN(MAHATMA GANDHIJI & SHRI LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI JI)

MBS celebrated Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and the anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri with great religious ardour and gaiety.

In Commemoration of Gandhi Jayanti and the anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri, a special  event Jivan Darshan themed as Sangharsh Se Sawaraj Tak  was organised on 29 September 2023, Friday in the school premises with the aim to inspire our students about the lives and contribution of two great leaders, who played pivotal roles in the Indian freedom struggle and the nation’s progress respectively.

 The school Principal, Mr. Atul Wadhawan inaugurated the event and delivered a brief and informative 

speech about the life and contributions of Mahatma Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastriji. The event commenced with the display of movements led by Gandhiji. Students of Houses Curie, Vivekananda, Tagore & Teresa enacted few important incidents like Swadeshi Movement, Non Cooperation, Chauri-Chaura and Civil Disobedience Movement, which invoked the spirit of the unforgettable sacrifices. 

Little MBSians of class IV & V enacted Dandi March. Tiny tots of class II were represented as Gandhiji’s Monkeys depicting “See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil”. The cultural segments of the event included various performances by students, such as an enchanting recitation of Gandhiji’s favourite bhajans. a delightful dance performance symbolizing Gandhiji’s principles, a charismatic skit depicting key events in Lal Bahadur Shastri ji. Pre- primary teachers performed the skit on the values of Mahatma Gandhi ji.

Gandhiji strongly advocated the use of Khadi and promoted the use of handwork as a means of economic self-sufficiency and social empowerment. So, to inculcate the value of self-reliance, a handicraft stall was displayed. The exhibition not only focused on showcasing artefacts from Gandhiji's personal collection but also incorporated interactive displays and multimedia presentations to engage the audience on a deeper level. 

Overall, visitors and all the students from Grade Nursery to XII had an enriching experience through insightful panels depicting key moments from Gandhiji and Shastriji’s life, accompanied by thought-provoking narratives. Moreover, the inclusion of live bhajans performances added spiritual fervour to the event while encouraging visitors to immerse themselves fully in Gandhi ji's legacy. 

This exhibition promised to be a captivating tribute to one of history's most influential figures through its professionalism. Besides this, Cleanliness drive was organised and cleanliness monitors were made who monitored the respective classes and corridors and told about the importance of cleanliness. Class teachers conducted Quiz on Mahatma Gandhi in their respective classes. 

The Exhibition of Gandhi ji's life was meticulously planned and curated that aimed to provide a comprehensive insight into his  extraordinary life and teachings. A special assembly on Teacher’s Day and Janmashtami was presented by the students of Teresa House on 5 September 2023, to commemorate the birth of the second President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a philosopher, a great teacher and  ‘Natkahat Nand Lal’ who taught everyone principles of Good Karma and Bhakti.
 The assembly commenced with a prayer, followed by a speech on Teacher’s day that not only provided an insight into the life of Dr.Radhakrishnan but also celebrated the teacher’s contribution in making the future generation responsible citizens of tomorrow. The cultural programme celebrated the birth of Shri Krishna and encapsulated his teachings through religious songs presented by senior students. Melodious Songs filled the atmosphere with devotion, allowing everyone to connect with the divine. Dance performance and skit made the day the most memorable one for the teachers.
The senior students presented titles to the teachers acknowledging the sincere efforts of each teacher whom they witnessed selflessly engaging to make their educational journey smooth and rewarding.
The winning students of Ripples Inter School Fest 2023 were awarded with prestigious trophies and certificates. The school secured First position in Swaralaya and Interlocutors’ Parely, Second in Eluminators and Canva -Newsletter and Third position in Ad Mad Show. Additionally, certificates were given to students for their involvement in club activities and the olympiad during the school assembly. Additionally three teachers of our school Ms. Babita Rangra, Ms. Juliet Anthony, and Ms. Parul Trivedi were honoured with appreciation letters from the School Principal as some of their students secured centum scores in CBSE class X Board Examination 2023. Furthermore, the contributions of Ms. Shiny Benjamin and Ms. Rishu Kaul to the International Dimension in School 2022-25 (ISA- British Council) programme were duly acknowledged. Their dedication and efforts were honored with certificates, highlighting their valuable input to the programme.
It is worth mentioning that the School Principal, along with the institution itself, received a well-deserved appreciation certificate from the esteemed International Dimension in School 2022-25 (ISA- British Council) programme.


This recognition serves as a testament to the school's commitment to excellence and its dedication to fostering a global perspective among its students.
The School Principal, Mr. Atul Wadhawan, reminded the students of the tireless labour and love that all the teachers put in to nurture them as knowledgeable and compassionate individuals.
It was a remarkable day for all the MBSians with many unforgettable moments.
The teachers applauded the overwhelming zeal and enthusiasm exhibited by the students for making such a glorious event a memorable one.The assembly concluded with the School Song and  National Anthem .
The students also presented their teachers with beautifully handwritten cards and letters, filled with heartfelt wishes for Teachers' Day. These tokens of appreciation hold immense sentimental value and serve as cherished mementos, symbolizing the profound bond shared between teachers and students.
In a delightful twist, senior students embraced the role of teachers, stepping into the shoes of their mentors and assuming teaching responsibilities for the day. This fostered empathy and a deeper understanding of the dedication required to educate and nurture young minds.
The school honoured all teachers with gifts, aiming to create an unforgettable day for them. Subsequently, a delectable lunch was served to the esteemed educators.

  A Glimpse of the Event

MBS International School strongly fosters the belief that life’s challenges should not dissuade one from realising his dreams, rather they should usher one into the unknown and aim at discovering the hitherto, undiscovered, latent talent of a child.Thus, to keep alive the freedom of expression, the school organised Ripples 2023 - An Inter School Fest, on 25 August 2023 which witnessed the participation of students from forty prestigious schools from Delhi NCR.

Ripples themed on ‘Explore your Expertise was a sincere effort to generate awareness in the students to create a platform for our young scholars to ‘discover their creative bent of mind’.

The students participated in interesting theme-based activities such as Dress to Impress, Rhythm in Motion, Ad Mad Show, Puppetry Blaze, Nukkad Natak, Dot Mandala, Swaralaya, Diversity Counts, Kavyanjali, Canva newsletter, E-Luminators and Interlocutors.

The School Principal and the School Vice Principal welcomed the distinguished guests, judges, teachers, and participants from other schools. Acclamations and applause reverberated through the auditorium as Certificates of Excellence and Trophies were awarded to the winners from different schools. The rolling trophy was won by MBS International School, Dwarka, New Delhi and was passed on to Adarsh Public School, Vikaspuri, New Delhi.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

15 August 1947, the memorable day, when our motherland dawned to the greatest victory of freedom paving the path for a brighter and more promising future for our nation. Reminiscing the indomitable spirit of our freedom fighters and partaking in the splendid victory of freedom, MBS International School celebrates Independence Day every year with great grandeur and pomp.


MBS International School celebrated the 77th Independence Day with boundless enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag followed by the National Anthem.
The event exuberated with the cultural extravaganza. The eye-catching and scintillating dance performances stimulated love and reverence for our beautiful motherland. After that, the school choir group presented an immensely sublime melody. It was followed by a skit and a poem recital reminiscing the sacrifices of our valiant soldiers.  

 The celebration was truly a memorable one efficaciously creating an ambience of patriotism, unity, integrity and harmony.

In an endeavour to acknowledge the hard work, dedication, and outstanding achievements of students who have excelled in their academic pursuits in session 2022-23, Scholar Badge Ceremony was organized with great pride at MBS International School, Dwarka, New Delhi on 5 August 2023 in the school auditorium.
 The event was initiated with the lamp lighting ceremony by the Chief Guests Prof. M N Hoda, Director, Bhartiya Vidyapeeth, Computer Science and Management and Mr. J R Meena, DoE Nominee.
The highlight of the event was the awarding of the Scholar Badges. Each scholar was invited to the stage in succession, where they were presented with the prestigious badge as a symbol of their academic achievement. The proud parents and teachers applauded and celebrated the students' hard-earned success. These outstanding students were awarded Certificates of Excellence for their exceptional performance, dedication, and hard work.
Another significant aspect of the event was the acknowledgment of students with perfect attendance. These students demonstrated remarkable discipline and commitment by attending school every day without any absences. They were presented with special badges and certificates as a testament to their dedication to their studies and the value they place on education.
The ceremony was made even more special with captivating cultural performances by the students. The tradition was blended with the engrossing cultural show put on by the budding artists from the school. The Mime Act, Dance Performance and melodious song performance reflected the rich diversity and talent present in the student community. The cultural programmes not only entertained the audience but also highlighted the importance of embracing our cultural heritage.
The Chief Guests motivated the students with their thought-provoking address. The success of the Scholar Badge Ceremony would not have been possible without the collective efforts of many individuals.

Kargil Vijay Diwas and Investiture Ceremony

MBS International School celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas and Investiture Ceremony with great zeal and ardour.

MBS International School organized a special assembly on Kargil Vijay Diwas which was presented by the students of Tagore House on 21 July 2023, to remember India’s war victory and to pay tribute to Kargil’s martyrs, who were the symbol of courage and sacrifice for safeguarding the borders of our country and The Investiture Ceremony to felicitate the newly elected student council and leaders for the academic year 2023-24.

The assembly commenced with an inspirational thought, which was followed by an educational address on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas . The entire atmosphere was filled with patriotism as the students commemorated the day with speeches on the bravery of soldiers, role plays, and patriotic songs.Moreover, the Prefect Council Members were conferred badges and sashes by Principal Sir Mr.Atul Wadhawan  and Vice Principal ma’am Ms. Nandita Sikarwar. They took the oath to fulfill their responsibilities with integrity,dedication,and fairness.The Head Boy and Head Girl delivered inspiring speech and expressed their gratitude.They emphasized their commitment to foster unity, academic excellence and extracurricular involvement. Principal Sir, encouraged the leaders with his motivating speech on leadership, coordination, level of confidence and various strategic skills. Parent Orientation Program for Class XI(Provisional)

In our quest for excellence in school education, MBS International School organized Orientation Session for parents and students of  Class XI on April 8,2023.

After the ceremonial lamp lighting, the School Principal, Mr Atul Wadhawan addressed the parents and  informed them about the exciting opportunities that awaited their wards this year and reiterated on the need for participation   in literary and co curricular activities to ensure the overall development of their personality. The interactive session, which    addressed the anxieties of parents regarding career options was addressed well.The School Coordinator also apprised them about the school ethos and the guidelines pertaining to examination criteria.The programme culminated with students engaging in a discussion with the teachers to help guide and assist them with their transition into the new educational experience.

The session  was well received and appreciated.

 

 

Parent Orientation Program(NUR-IX)

“A parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent in school and the child is the centre of our universe.” 

Embarking on the journey of the new academic session 2023-24, MBS International School, Dwarka, received the parents of all the new members of the MBS family with joy and humility at the Parents’ Orientation Programme held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 & Friday, March 31, 2023. Parents were acquainted with the school’s system, facilities and infrastructure designed to achieve attainable goals, to shape strong, self-reliant and confident individuals. It was an ice breaking session to accord kinship between the two most indispensable factors of a child’s journey of education; parents and school. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of lamp by the school Principal Mr Atul Wadhawan.  With the help of a presentation the parents were apprised about the objectives and the philosophy of the school. 

In the end parents were given an opportunity to have their queries answered. After the orientation session parents were requested to move to the classrooms where the respective class teachers gave them an overview of the various subjects, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities It was yet another promising beginning to a fruitful new academic year.

 

Graduation Ceremony

The Graduation Day ceremony is a happy and momentous occasion for the little ones as they gather to celebrate the culmination of their Pre-school years. Kindergarten graduation is an exciting milestone for Pre-primary children as it’s their first step towards a future full of hopes and possibilities. It marks a new beginning that adds new dimensions to their school life and the journey they begin towards knowledge and education.
To celebrate the progress of tiny tots and to mark their progression, MBS International School celebrated the Convocation Day with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. The occasion was graced by Mr Amit from Ascent Play School, Ms Kiran Mittal from Shemrock Play School, Ms Shruti and Ms Anuradha from Delhi Kids Play School. They complimented the petite graduates on their achievements. They also congratulated the teachers for their dedication and hard work in shaping the students through education and other co-curricular activities. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the chief guests and the school Principal Mr Atul Wadhawan. The students left everyone spell bound with their wonderful performance on 'Saraswati Vandana' with highly coordinated movements that promptly set the tone and mood of the atmosphere high. Their energetic dance moves coaxed the enthusiastic parents to sway to its lively beats. The children rendered the school song which was followed by yoga performance, emphasizing on the importance of fitness. The performers of the story enactment – ‘The Rainbow Fish’, put up a great show of confidence and charisma. Their energy and vibrancy enthralled all the spectators as they had joined in to ‘celebrate learning’. They passed on a significant message of sharing and never to look down on anybody through their story.
Then came the most important part of the celebrations, the KG convocation. The smiling faces of young pupils were welcomed by rapturous applause from the audience as they received scrolls of merit. Everyone congratulated these little graduates who were ready to move on to explore and accomplish yet other milestones in their lives. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for the little ones as they received their Graduation certificates from our dignitaries’.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prize Distribution Ceremony

Achievements are a result of hard work, determination and constant efforts with positive attitude. Over the years MBS International School has appreciated students who excel in different fields and bring laurels to school. Such students bring fame to school. The best way to felicitate students  is by awarding them with mementos and certificates of appreciation. Keeping this in mind the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was organized in the School premises on February 21, 2023 and February 23,  2023. Our honorable Principal Sir Mr Atul Wadhawan, and School Advisor Ma’am Ms Gayatri, presided over the assembly. The school choir melodiously rendered ‘Gayatri Mantra ’ and ‘School Song’. The students were felicitated for showing excellence in the field of Music, Dance,Sports and other Literary and Cultural activities. The young achievers felt elated in their glorious moments and inspired others too. Our Principal Sir also motivated the students to participate in the events. Pursuing with its commitment to imbibe in them the finer nuances of creativity,visual special awareness,fine motor skills & novelty of thoughts,the school organised “Revels-2022”an Inter School event on December 17,2022 which was witnessed by students from different Play Schools of South-West zone. Interesting “Superheroes” theme based activites inspired students to celebrate the overwhelming & fascinating world.The Award Ceremony  commenced with the ceremonial kindling of the lamp in the presence of  Mr Atul Wadhawan our honourable school Principal sir.

The students participated with great zeal & enthusiasm in different activites such as  ,Pastel Fun,Cleave Flogging, Magnificent Domino to name a few.Many games were also arranged for the parents

Grand Parents' Day Celebration - 2022

Grandparents are the precious stalwarts of our families and are instrumental in shaping the very fabric of our lives.  And to express their respect and gratitude towards them tiny tots of MBS International School celebrated Grandparents’ Day in Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Auditorium, Delhi Cantt. It has been a tradition at MBS International School to celebrate Grandparents’ Day as it gives us an opportunity to treasure that connection and spend some quality, family time together. The celebration took place on Saturday, November 12, 2022.
The little munchkins showcased their talent in two slots. In slot one our tiny tots of Pre-primary wing and Grade III students filled the hearts of everyone with joy with their performances. In slot two our tiny tots of Grade I & II thrilled us with their talent on the stage. The event beheld the gracious presence of the Chief Guest Prof. Bijay Dash, Chairman of the school, Mr. Gulshan Kumar Magon, School Manager Ms. Gurleen Kaur, Principal of the School, Mr. Atul Wadhawan, Vice Principal Ms. Saachi Chaudhary, and the Primary Coordinator. The grand show commenced with the traditional auspicious Lamp-Lighting ceremony as a tribute to Mother Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge.

The celebration began with an invocation to the Lord Almighty. Students extended a warm welcome with a dance performance. This was followed by a melodious song. An exhilarating dance performance dedicated to Gandparents by the young performers was imbued with the unquestionable love and gratitude they have for their grandparents. Vice Principal Ms. Saachi Chaudhary, addressed the audience and encouraged the students for putting up scintillating performances for their grandparents. The enthralling performance in the form of a musical drama named ‘Pinocchio’ by the students left the grandparents and parents spellbound and thoroughly mesmerized. Special performance by the grandparents to enjoy their special day was an absolute joy to see them participate with vigour and enthusiasm. It was indeed a highly emotional and satisfying experience for all. The chief guest of the day, Prof Bijay Dash, Director MBS School of Planning and Architect addressed the audience and asserted the importance of having grandparents in the family.

Ripples 2022

MBS International School, Dwarka believes in providing innumerable opportunities to students to sap their intellectual competence with creative endeavours and literary accomplishments.
Pursuing with its commitment to imbibe in them the finer nuances of creativity, visual special awareness, fine motor skills and novelty of thoughts, the school organised Ripples-2022 an Inter School event, on November 5,2022 which witnessed participation of around 200 students from various prestigious schools of Dwarka. Ripples-Live Green, Save Green was our sincere effort to cherish and replenish the lost glory of nature by reducing the detrimental impact of pollution in our environment through recycling activities, earth sciences and arts.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp in the presence of the School Principal, judges, teachers and participants from different schools.
The students participated in interesting ‘Save Green’ theme based activities such as Fashion Mania, Jewellery Designing,Bird Feeder,Actomania,Performing Poetry, Tell A Tale, Green gurus,Vaakchaturya,Radio Jockey,Eco Warriors and Shark Tank.
The guests and judges appreciated and lauded the performance of the students and motivated the achievers to strive ahead with an optimistic attitude.

 

 

PTM and Skill Bazaaar 2022

MBS International School organizes PTM and Skill Bazaar
We believe that mutual effort, understanding and co-operation of parents and teachers is very important for the development and progress of students.
Parent Teacher Meeting for Classes III to XII was held on October 15,2022 from to discuss the performance of students with their parents and provide constructive feedback about their ward’s performance in Term I Exam 2022.
The strengths and areas of improvements were discussed and suggestions of parents were noted.
The School also organised Skill Bazar 2022 aimed to showcase the talent and creativity of the students who crafted handmade diyas, candles and decorative artefacts in the art stalls.
An educative endeavour indeed !
 

Teachers' Day 2022

Teachers’ Day was an epochal occasion to appreciate the brilliant teachers of the school who sowed warmth into the soul of the young minds and ignited in them an ambition to excel in every capacity.
The students of the school paid a glowing tribute to their mentors by organising a special programme on 05th September 2022, celebrating the dedication and commitment of their guides, in the august presence of the School Principal and the teachers.
The Teacher’s Day 2022 was an incredibly executed programme with teamwork of Student Council members and students of class XI and XII who contributed to make the celebration a resounding success!
The programme commenced with the Guru Vandana, followed by Poem Recitation. The skit presentation by the students flabbergasted all as they expressed their gratitude with their utmost sincerity and excitingly adorable expressions. Dance, instrumental music and retro songs were some of the programme highlights! Titles were conferred to the teachers by the Student Council members. 
The School Principal, Shri Atul Wadhawan and Vice Principal, Ms. Sachi Chaudhary congratulated teachers for their various achievements. The School Principal gave Appreciation Letters to those teachers who got centum in CBSE Board Results - 2022 in their respective subjects.
A sumptuous lunch organised by honorable Chairman Sir for teachers at Taj Vivanta was a luxurious treat. It was a memorable day indeed!

 

 

 

Independence Day Celebration

All we desire for our country is happiness. Let's salute our great nation on its Independence Day! We are so grateful for the freedom we have and are proud of the nation we were born to! MBS International School celebrated 75 years of freedom on August 13,2022 with great patriotic fervour and zeal.. A beautiful programme was put together by the students and staff. Our Respected Principal sir Mr.Atul Wadhawan accompanied by Vice Principal Ms. Sachi Chaudhary ma’am, Head Boy, Head Girl and other council members, unfurled the tricolour followed by the National Anthem. This entailed a short celebration including the high spirited patriotic Kawali by students that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the motherland. Students witnessed the Independence Day programme of the School in two parts, in first Pre-primary students were told about the importance of Independence Day and they were also detailed about national symbols.

In the second part the cultural pageant in the form of special assembly interlaced with the patriotic fervour created an exuberant aura.The flamboyant national song gave the incentive to the spirit of nationalism. The school pledge filled in the belonging spirit in the young minds.To add on to this, the students were bewitched as they witnessed a reverberating theatre performance presented by students again highlighting chauvinism.This was followed by a throbbing dance performance adding spark to the occasion. The harmonious patriotic kawali which intrigued the students superseded the enthralling speech by Principal Mr Atul Wadhawan. Speaking on the occasion Sir contended that relentless hard work and sacrifice of the freedom fighters led to free India.He urged students to realize, understand and cherish our coveted freedom and work towards a progressive nation. He further addressed the gathering appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility. He also emphasized the role of youth today as the true wealth of a country. The programme culminated with the national anthem.

The Independence Day has a great importance in every citizen's life. This day reminds us every year that freedom is sacred and citizens must do everything to ensure that it shall not be endangered.In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “The future depends on what we do in the present!” So let’s pledge to make ourselves fair-minded, fearless and faithful. SCHOLAR BADGE CEREMONY

It is an endeavour for a school to acknowledge and award the students for their continuing saga of glorious achievements in academics. MBS International School celebrated the Scholar Badge Ceremony on August 6, 2022. The codes of positive vibes were sparkled as it was a moment to rejoice for the meritorious students who had worked diligently to achieve their goals.

The ceremony commenced on an auspicious note of ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Extending a hearty welcome to the gathering, our esteemed Vice Principal Ms. Sachi Chaudhary Ma’am applauded the students who had distinguished themselves through hard work, grit and determination. The event was made even more special with the presence of our revered Director ma’am Ms. Indira Kohli and respected principal sir Mr. Atul Wadhawan who shared their wonderful and encouraging words. They inspired students to gear up with all the opportunities provided by the school.

The Scholars were elated as their names were announced and their photographs were displayed on the screen. All the Scholars of session 2021-22 were proud recipients of this felicitation inclusive of board scholars. Students with special needs were also encouraged by making them part of this felicitation.

The cultural extravaganza interwoven with the announcement of Scholars created an ebullient ambience to the celebration. The high spirited and vibrant song ‘Together we can’ spurred the spirit of positivity and the joy of victory. This was followed by a riveting dance performance adding spark to the occasion. To add on to this, the audience were awestruck as they witnessed a soul- stirring theatre performance presented by students titled- ‘Hard Work’. This was followed mellifluous rendition of school song which left the audience spellbound.

A gleaming enthusiasm and the triumphant spirit of the young scholars could be felt and seen. It was indeed a proud moment for the parents to see the young scholars receiving their honours.

The event culminated with Vote of Thanks followed by the National Anthem.

An Investiture ceremony was organized on July, 23, 2022, in the gracious presence of the Chief Guests, Honourable Professor Bijay Dash, Director,MBS college of Planning and Architecture , Dwarka and  Professor VK Bugga, Faculty,  MBS college of planning and architecture,  School Director, Ms. Indira Kohli, School Principal, Mr. Atul Wadhawan,Vice Principal Ms. Sachi Chaudhary , Senior Headmistress, Primary Co-ordinator teachers, students and  parents.  

The Grand Ceremony commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp of Knowledge followed by the soulful rendition of the School Song.The Vice Principal, in her welcome address guided the Office Bearers to perform their tasks and responsibilities with utmost sincerity and diligence.  

A democratic voting procedure was set in pace which ultimately formed the school student council of the year 2022-23. The newly elected student council members pledged to work earnestly and uphold the honour and glory of the institution while receiving their prestigious badges and honours from the Chief Guests.

It was a proud moment for all the Parents to witness their children being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders. The  Guests exhorted the appointed members to uphold the legacy of the school and encouraged them to tread on the right direction and be the change for the school.

The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.


 

FAREWELL 2022

Farewell! a word that must be, and hath been -
A sound which makes us linger; - yet - farewell!

A nostalgic ceremony on April 9,2022 marked the farewell day as the school bid adieu to Class XII students. The event marked the beginning of a new journey, a journey towards their board exams, their college life and finally a prosperous career. The   ceremonious lamp lighting by the School Principal and School Vice-Principal was an auspicious beginning to the event.

The day started on a joyous note as the students reminisced their most cherished and fond memories of the school life. The School Vice-Principal formally welcomed Class XII and wished all the students luck for their future endeavours.

The cultural programme truly touched the hearts of all the students and at the same time made them very sentimental. The exuberant dance and music performances by the students of class XI brought back all the fun and frolic of the day to the atmosphere. The School Principal in his address, inspired them to surge ahead and come out with flying colours. It was a momentous occasion for the outgoing batch to receive their citations and titles highlighting their talents and achievements, a nostalgic reminder of their rewarding years in the school. The students were gifted mementoes, preserving memories and best wishes from all.

A sumptuous lunch and dance party that ensued, left everyone enthralled. The day was a history, with all its zest and zeal!

 
GRADUATION CEREMONY
Graduation – is a time to celebrate new beginnings and say goodbye to everything that has given you a reason to smile. It is warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future” The year of 2021 has been an unforgettable year in terms of getting accustom to the new normal for teaching learning experience. However, this has not affected the dedication and hard work of the students and the teachers of MBS International School.Sector-11, Dwarka in shaping up the students through education and other cocurricular activities throughout the year. To celebrate the progression and development of students, the preprimary wing celebrated Graduation Day on Saturday, March 19,2022 and applauded the young enthusiastic leaners for their commendable performance in the session 2021-2022. The programme began with a virtual lamp lighting followed by the Ganesh Vandana. The tiny tots left everybody spell bound as they spoke different slogans on ‘Save Mother Earth’. This was followed by the distribution of e-graduation certificates to the tiny tots in graduation caps and sash along with the felicitation of the little children. The programme culminated with the vote of thanks by the parents who expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the school management, and the teachers. It was indeed a memorable experience for the little ones and be blessed as they continue their education in the main stream of the school.
 
ORIENTATION (CBSE X & XII)

In our quest for excellence in school education MBS International School organized CBSE Term I Orientation Session for students of  Classes X & XII on October 23,2021.

The Vice Principal apprised them with the school ethos, vision and mission of the school and the guidelines pertaining to latest changes by CBSE regarding TERM I criteria for theory and Practicals examination. The Orientation session addressed their queries and concerns regarding the special scheme of assessment and apprised the students with an overview of the Term I Examination and OMR.

The highly informative session was followed by an interactive session ensuring the maximum participation of students and parents. The interactive session, which addressed the anxieties of students and parents in an engaging manner, was well received and appreciated. The orientation programme heralded optimism giving a clarion to brace Term I examination with alacrity.

 

 
SCHOLAR BADGE CEREMONY

MBS International School virtually celebrated the Scholar Badge Ceremony for the session 2020-2021 on August 28, 2021, with great pomp and splendour. This ceremony is one of the most awaited and time-tested tradition of the school, when gleaming enthusiasm and the triumphant spirit of the young scholars can be seen and felt. The anchors gave an auspicious start to the event, welcomed the august gathering and congratulated the students and the parents for their commendable performance in academics. The solemn event commenced with the lighting of the lamp. This was followed by a divine dance performance by our MBSians on riveting Saraswati Vandana which was applauded by one and all present.

The much-awaited part of the ceremony was the virtual felicitation of certificates to our meritorious scholars by the school principal. This was followed by a mellifluous singing performance by our MBSian which pulled the strings of our hearts. It beautifully expressed the message, “Self-belief and hard work will always earn you success.” Witnessing a splendid fusion dance performance was a new experience in itself. The event culminated on a very promising and positive note with the National Anthem and vote of thanks expressing gratitude to everyone present and applauding the accomplishment of the young scholars. The program would not have been successful without the relentless support and guidance of revered Chairman sir, Mr. Gulshan Kumar Magon, honourable Manager ma’am, Ms. Gurleen Kaur, respected Educational Advisor ma’am, Ms Mrinalini Kaura and respected Principal Sir, Mr Atul Wadhawan.

 
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Let us all be proud of our beloved nation. We all have to collectively strive to make India vibrant, strong and supreme.

MBS International School, Sector 11, Dwarka, New-Delhi celebrated 75th soul stirring Independence Day. to pay homage to the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and those who gave their lives, mind, body and soul  to free our country.

Esteemed Chief Guest of the occasion Shri Ramesh Gill, Registrar & Director of KM Medical College & Hospital, Ex Director Army Education Welfare Society, was welcomed by honourable Principal Sir, Shri. Atul Wadhawan. To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, honourable Principal sir, unfurled the National Flag, symbol of our National pride and identity and in unison sang the National Anthem expressing the joy of our freedom.

The flag hoisting ceremony was followed by a gamut of cultural performances. On this patriotic occasion, our shining MBSians sang beautiful song which pulled the strings of our hearts. The students showcased wonderful dance performances glorifying our independence. The Cultural Head & the Vice Cultural Head of the school presented their speeches, spreading the message of peace, non-violence and love for the nation. This was followed by an enlightening play which took the audience down the memory lane. The play filled the air with patriotism. The tiny tots of MBS showcased their talent by being the torch bearers of independence. The esteemed chief guest addressed the gathering, appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urged them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility. He also emphasised the role of youth today as the true wealth of a country and highlighted the value of discipline, team spirit and keeping duties and responsibilities before comfort. Sir spoke highly about the school and appreciated the management and all the wonderful performances of the students in the event.

For us, Investiture Ceremony is not just about providing titles, but about conferring responsibilities to the students, to take charge of the school and take it to the height they desire with their leadership and decision-making skills, communication and teamwork.
MBS International School organised a Virtual Investiture Ceremony on July 24, 2021 which witnessed the proud coronation of young leaders as the members of the student council. Like every year, this year also school prefectorial board was formed after scrutinous interviewing and selection which gave them a feel of functioning of an official administrative body. The solemn event commenced with the lighting of the lamp. The school Principal, Mr Atul Wadhawan gave an auspicious start to the event and welcomed the august gathering. Sir also appreciated and congratulated the students and reminded them that position comes with responsibility towards themselves, their school and peers. He advised them to be role models and make sincere efforts to ensure discipline in the school. This was followed by a mellifluous dance performance by the accomplished MBSians which pulled the strings of our hearts. This was followed by honouring and investing our responsible, diligent and young recipients with their positions, duties and responsibilities. The student council members took an oath to faithfully work for the school. The students expressed their gratitude to the school for being bestowed with such a responsibility and took up their new roles with their heads held high. It was indeed a moment of great pride for the parents of the achievers who were recognized for their promising leadership and extraordinary contribution to the school. This was followed by an enthralling musical performance by our melodious MBSians. Our energetic young dancers put up a riveting dance performance which was applauded by one and all present. Our Honourable Chief guest Ms Roopali Dhawan, Head, Education Business, HT Media, addressed the audience with her encouraging words and congratulated the parents and students for their achievement. The event culminated with the National Anthem and vote of thanks proposed by our Senior Coordinator Ma'am where she applauded the accomplishment of the young office bearers and inspired them to continue to work diligently so as to reach the pinnacle of success.

E-ANNUAL DAY

MBS International School has always believed in integrating social values and skills in their school routine. Once again, paving its way of inculcating these values in the students, the school left no stone unturned in leaving an imprint on the hearts and minds of their little ones. One such event was witnessed by the parents and students on December 19, 2020, the day when MBS International School celebrated its first ever Virtual Annual Day themed on ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam’. The school brought together vibrancy and life being propelled into magnificent and reverberating celebrations via virtual means. The event was streamed live on YouTube and Facebook page of the school. The footfall of the event turned out to be in great numbers which only resonated our belief in togetherness and oneness even in the times of difficulties. 
The E-Annual Day was solicited by Mr. Satpal Singh, Deputy Director of Education, South West Delhi who was the chief guest of the occasion. The occasion was also graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries of the school comprising of the Chairman Mr. Gulshan Kumar Magon, Manager of the School, Ms. Gurleen Kaur, Principal of the School, Mr. Atul Wadhawan and Vice Principal of the school, Ms. Rajesh Banopreeya. 
The spectacular event commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by scintillating invocation of Saraswati Vandana performed by the students. The Vice Principal of the School, Ms. Rajesh Banopreeya, addressed the august gathering outlining the theme of the event and also congratulated the students and parents for their exemplary performance and efforts put up to make it a memorable day for everyone. This was accompanied by the cultural programme which was a skit on ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam – The Religion of Love and Attachment’. The grand finale showcased the power of global unity and love even in the gravest of times. The audience was visibly impressed by the impeccable performance showcased by the students. The parents appreciated the theme chosen and its indelible imprint on the students. The students were seen performing with full enthusiasm, gusto and zeal.
The celebrations culminated with a positive note spreading across the message of global unity as following:

The Vice Principal, Ms. Rajesh Bano Preeya, gave an auspicious start to the event, welcomed the august gathering and congratulated the students for their commendable performance in academics. The Vice Principal has also extended heartiest birthday wishes to Mr. Parvesh Verma on behalf of the management and the school as it was his birthday when he graciously accepted to honour our event with his presence.

The highly dignified Chief Guest of the day honourable Sh. Parvesh Verma addressed the audience and inspired the students to continue to work diligently so as to reach the pinnacle of success. TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION

“One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those  who  touched  our  human  feelings as warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child.”

Teachers’ Day was an epochal occasion to appreciate the brilliant teachers of the school who sowed warmth into the soul of the young minds and ignited in them an ambition to excel in every capacity.

The students of the school paid a glowing tribute to their mentors through the special assembly celebrating the dedication and commitment of their guides, in the august presence of the School Principal, the School Vice Principal, senior Headmistress, Coordinators of respective wings, teachers, parents and students.

The teacher’s day 2020 was an incredibly executed ‘online’ event realised with teamwork of the teachers, council members and students who contributed to make the celebration a resounding ‘virtual’ success!

The assembly commenced with the Guru Vandana, followed by Poem recitation. The presentation by tiny tots of the Pre- Primary classes flabbergasted all as they expressed their gratitude with their innocent and excitingly adorable videos! A beautifully orchestrated skit in the form of a Qawwali, a mellifluous tribute to teachers by students dance and videos were some of the programme highlights! The School Vice Principal addressed the teachers on the occasion and congratulated their achievements.

The ceremony started at 8 AM in the school premises. Esteemed Chief Guest of the occasion Mr. Anto Alphonse, DCP, Dwarka was escorted by honourable Principal Sir, Mr. Atul Wadhawan, respected Vice Principal Ma’am, Ms. Rajesh Banopreeya along with Head Boy and Head Girl of the school. To Commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, the esteemed chief guest along with honourable Principal sir, unfurled the national flag, symbol of our National pride and identity and in unison sang the National Anthem expressing the joy of our freedom.

Jawaharlal Nehru, presented his speech ‘Tryst with Destiny’, spreading the message of peace, non-violence and love for the nation. Vice Principal ma’am addressed the gathering, appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urged them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility. She also emphasised the role of youth today as the true wealth of a country. The celebrations filled the air with patriotism and it was a tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for giving us this freedom. The assembly concluded with the vote of thanks and Vande Mataram that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our Mother Land.                                                                         YELLOW COLOUR DAY                                                    
                                                                         "Colours are the smiles of nature".
Children love colours and it is always a special treat when a colour day is celebrated.To make the smile part of our learning process, Pre School MBSians celebrated ‘Yellow Colour Day’ on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. The online interactive google meet session with the class teacher and the students was as bright and warm as the Sun.
Children were beautifully dressed up in their favourite yellow clothes and also carried a yellow object to make it a complete yellow day celebration. Teachers planned theme based rhymes and activities to make learning fun and interesting.This colour brought in a lot of positive energy and vibes. May this positivity spread like the light of the sun.

                                                                                                      

                                                                                                             VIRTUAL ZUMBA SESSION
  Positivity is more contagious than any other thing in the world. Hence to spread this positivity all around, each one of us at MBS International School took an initiative to conduct a virtual ‘Family Zumba’ Session on Saturday, May 2, 2020 for our Parents & Students, amid lockdown situation.
The Zumba class was led by our Dance Teacher Ms.Megha Dagar. The aim was to introduce something that was fun for the parents to do, in a comfortable indoor environment. The energy during Zumba session was contagious. With appropriate guidance and patient instructor, our parents and students were grooving to the peppy music in no time at all. The Zumba session proved to be a fun filled healthy aerobic activity for all parents and children. To see them follow zumba steps to the various tunes was surely a sight to behold! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed learning this new form and appreciated the efforts put in by the team of MBS.

                                                                               


                                                                                         
                                                                                                  PARENT 'S ORIENTATION 

MBS International School organized an Online Orientation Session for the parents of Pre Primary class on April 28, 2020. Session began with a welcome note  by the Pre Primary Coordinator followed by an official address by Vice Principal of the school Ms. R Banopreeya. She assured parents about the safe and secure environment provided by the school. She emphasized on digital learning methods to facilitate remote learning for students and extended all possible support from the school’s side.
This session served as an excellent prelude to bond school and parent for the common goal that is the progress of the child. Parents got to know what to expect in the coming year and how different the content will be from that of Pre School year. Parents and students were happy and excited to meet the class teachers, who introduced themselves towards the end of the session. Ms. Jyotika, preprimary coordinator solved parents academics related queries. “To make an elderly person happy is the noblest cause anyone can ever make!”
MBS International School joined hands with HelpAge India Foundation to bring a wave of happiness in the lives of those who are living in isolation even before the COVID-19. The school organized a ‘Bhajan Sandhya’ for the elderly on April 27, 2020 on Zoom platform. The bhajans were sung by the music teacher Ms. Seema Wadhawan. The melodious presentation was enjoyed by each and every one present there. The ‘Bhajan Sandhya’ culminated with the Om Jai Jagdish aarti and with the shower of blessings from the elderly.

Amid the worldwide lockdown due to COVID-19, when the entire atmosphere is gloomy and uncertain, MBS International School organized a ‘Bhajan Sandhya’ for the grandparents to pep them up. The session was beautifully conducted by Ms. Seema Wadhawan on April 25, 2020. The event included various bhajans sung by her. She infused the event with vigour and liveliness. This filled the elderly with enthusiasm and they joined by chanting the bhajans. The success of the program can be judged by the fact that the session has to be extended by another 40 minutes.  The ‘Bhajan Sandhya’ culminated with the Om Jai Jagdish aarti and with the shower of blessings from the grandparents.

MBS international school strongly believes in providing equal opportunity to all its students. As for us every child is unique, not only capable of learning but also capable of succeeding. Hence, on Saturday, 29 February 2020. students of class Pre School took the stage with a storm through their Ramp Show. All the students walked the ramp not only wearing & showcasing their beautiful attire but also their poise, confidence & positive attitude. Our children participated enthusiastically; each one of them delivered a different social message varying from saving our earth, pollution, to save water and say no to plastic etc.

Social awareness is a crucial element of a child's education. It enables a student to consider the perspective of other people and understand their needs. It teaches the skills of communication, collaboration, social responsibility, which are helpful in their lives.

Not only did they learn from their own participation but the activity also witnessed peer learning at its best. It was indeed a great opportunity for the students to nurture their skills in voice modulation, expressions, body language and confidence of speech and presentation.

Students were acknowledged by our Principal Sir by handed over the Appreciation Certificates. He also motivated the parents to take an oath to save our environment and plant more trees

This was followed by lamp lighting ceremony and Ganesh Vandana to evoke the blessings of Lord Ganesha. The gathering was then addressed by the Vice Principal highlighting the vision of the school and role of parents and teachers in the students’ learning process. The most important part of the day- Graduation Ceremony began with the tiny tots of Pre Primary dressed in Graduation robes and caps walking the stage. Each child walked the ramp and spoke about a social message with amazing confidence and poise which itself speaks heights about the comprehensive learning that takes place in MBS International School. The Principal and the Chief Guest felicitated the students with trophies and certificates of graduation. The Pre-Primary students left everybody spell bound with their mesmerizing dance performance. Vibrant music, dance, breathtaking colours and beautifully synchronized movements promptly set the tone and mood of the atmosphere. Their energetic booming and clapping coaxed the audience to sway to its lively beats. The programme culminated with the vote of thanks by the Pre-Primary Coordinator Ms. Jyotika. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for the little ones and their parents.

The grounds of MBS International School echoed with the blessings on January 4, 2020 when the school staff and students gathered together to bid farewell to the outgoing batch of 2019-2020. Students of class XI organized a farewell party for the outgoing batch of class XII with enthusiasm. The day was devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments. The celebrations started with the welcome of class XII students with tilak ceremony followed by hawan to invoke the blessings of the Almighty. The School Head Mistress accorded a formal welcome through a thoughtful speech.

The programme was interspersed with a medley of songs and dance prepared by class XI students .An incredible mime dance performance was put up by students of class XI. Students also mesmerized everyone with soulful rendition of a song to say goodbye to their seniors. A skit was also presented by the students of class XI wherein they glorified the moments spent in the school and asserted the importance of cherishing each day with their teachers and friends.

Later the senior students walked the ramp with grace and élan. The ramp walk constituted of the Personality Round wherein the judges posed various questions to the contestants for which they replied confidently. The grace, the poise, and sharp wit brought the coveted titles of the MS. and MR. MBS 2019-20 to Tripti Verma of XII-C and Hemansh Wadhera of XII-B. Class XI students read out titles while school Vice Principal and Head Mistress gave a memento to each student along with a souvenir. The highlight of the event was a poignant song presented by the teachers, outpouring their love for the students.

School Principal gave words of wisdom for all the students and motivated them to strive for excellence in all their future endeavours upholding the school values.

The event culminated with a note of gratitude through a poem presented by students of class XII.                    

GRANDPARENTS DAY 2019

 
 
 
 


Grandparents are the precious stalwarts of our families and are instrumental in shaping the very fabric of our lives. They lead us to the right path, holding our hands at every step, scolding us if we go wrong, encouraging us in our tough times,  inspiring us to be the best and forever being the “Wind beneath our Wing.” And to express their, respect and gratitude towards them tiny tots of MBS International School celebrated Grandparent’s day in Delhi Haat, Janakpuri.
The little munchkins showcased their talent in two slots. In slot one our tiny tots of Pre-primary wing filled the hearts of everyone with joy with their performances.
The grand show commenced with the arrival of our Chief guest Captain Shalini Singh .Followed by traditional auspicious LAMP-LIGHTENING ceremony as a tribute to Mother Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge by our honoured chief guests Captain Shalini Singh – a proud Indian Army Veteran, Chairman Sir Mr. Gulshan Kumar Magon, School Manager Ma’am Ms.Gurleen Kaur, Respected Principal Sir Mr. Atul Wadhawan, our Vice principal ma’am Ms Rajesh Bano Preeya, Primary Co-ordinator ma’am-Ms. Savita Chhillar and Pre-Primary co-ordinator-Ms.Jyotika .
In slot two our tiny tots of Primary wing thrilled us with their talent on the stage.
The grand show in slot two commenced with the arrival of our chief guest Ms.Sona Sharma – a fashion stylist, Ms. Pooja Dua – a great social worker and the first runner up of Dilli Darlings.

This was ensued by melodic grooves created by Mbsians in form of musical medley with school orchestra. A show can never begin without seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha. Supervened with a beautiful performance by little kids on Ganesh Vandana.
Then our Vice Principal ma’am Ms Rajesh Bano Preeya addressed our lovely guests with her kind and wise words.
Followed by a wonderful story “The Ant and the Grasshopper” depicted  through play which teaches us the value of hard work, toil and time management. Indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervor by the students of classes nursery to grade I .This  journey to the world of drama, dance and music held the audience enthralled.
 With refinement and poise the show ended with a finale dance and performance of few Grandparents with their grandkids. The proceedings were offered a vote of thanks by Co-ordinator ma’am as a resounding ovation feted the performers and their facilitators, namely our dear teachers.
The Grandparents Day celebration by the school is a humble way, taught to the students, for letting their grandparents know their irreplaceable role in their lives. Grandparents Day Celebration is a significant milestone in the child’s journey in our school .

MBS International School organised it’s 4th Inter School Basketball tournament from  November 28, 2019 to November 30, 2019. Students from 10 schools participated and each team had to compete against each other. The tournament commenced with the lighting of lamp by our esteemed guest Mr. Amit Saini. There were alot of spectators cheering for their teams and it was exciting to watch teams play and compete against each other. The court was noisy but fantastic. The atmosphere was electric with the cheers of the students and the enthusiasm of the participants. We witnessed good sportsmanship by all the players which was the best part of the 3 day tournament. We finally came to the most anticipated part of the tournament which was announcement of the results. The tournament ended with Bal Bharti Public School clinching first place, followed by Sri Venkateshwar International School, Venkateshwar International School and MBS International School respectively. Trophies, medals and certificates were felicitated to the players by Honourable Chief Guests Dr. Bharat Jha and Mr. Ravi Jain.
The game was exhilarating and everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It represented what we learn at MBS International School, which is participation and the spirit of true sportsmanship is more important than winning or losing.  
We congratulate all the participants for brilliant matches with good team spirit.
 
SCHOLAR BADGE CEREMONY
 
 

 
*A Nation's pride is in it's scholars.* MBS International School celebrated the Scholar Badge Ceremony for the session 2018-2019 on November 30, 2019 with great pomp and splendour. This ceremony is one of the most awaited and time tested tradition of all schools, when gleaming enthusiasm and the triumphant spirit of the young scholars can be seen and felt. The solemn event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the esteemed guest of the day Honourable Mr. Sushil Kumar Ji, Deputy Director of Education and the respected Principal of the school. This was followed by a mellifluous performance by the School orchestra which pulled the strings of our hearts. The Vice Principal, gave an auspicious start to the event and welcomed the august gathering. Later, pride was instilled in the hearts of the parents by listing out the awards and accolades received by the students in academics. The highly dignified Chief Guest of the day Mr. Sushil Kumar Ji and our respected Principal handed out the Scholar Badges and trophies to around 100 meritorious students. Our esteemed Chief Guest addressed the audience and emphasised on the importance of skill development, emotional, physical and mental balance in shaping the leaders of tomorrow. He concluded the speech by congratulating the parents and students for their achievement. The energetic dancers of MBS put up an riveting dance performance which was applauded by one and all present. Witnessing a splendid mime performance was a new experience in itself. It beautifully expressed the need of water conservation and harmonious co-existence of man with the Mother Earth. The event culminated with the National Anthem and vote of thanks by our Senior Head Mistress Ma'am where she applauded the accomplishment of the young scholars and inspired them to continue to work diligently so as to reach the pinnacle of success.

"Help children climb their own mountains as high as possible." On November 23, 2019, MBS International School, Dwarka opened it's gates and heart to welcome little stars in Inter School Fest - Revels. Children from 27 schools sportingly participated in various activities such as Drawing and Painting, Talent Hunt, Swag in me - Fashion Show, story narration, rhythm and rhyme recitation, Fancy Dress etc. This time the theme of the fest was Animal Farm. The kids were extremely excited to see a wide variety of animals such as chickens, hens, goat, sheep, horse, ducks, cow, buffalo etc. It was a treat to watch tiny little bunch of children participating with so much confidence and enthusiasm. This opportunity enriched our students with confidence, experience and sincere hard-work they have to put in everything they wish to succeed in life. The event also served as a platform for play schools and parents of children going to play school to experience the structure & working of formal school environment. The children left everyone awe-struck as they presented their talent so immaculately and effortlessly in the Talent Hunt Show. They were applauded for their superb performance. All the budding flowers were awarded with medals, gifts and participation certificates. The progrmme was a step taken up by the school to provide support to the Pre-Primary Schools to interact with the teachers, parents & students to build an everlasting bond in the teaching fraternity, the students, the school and the community at large.

WELLNESS WEEK
 

"Health is a state of body, wellness is a state of being". MBS International School celebrated Wellness Week, enjoying a wide range of planned activities. The Wellness Week was conducted in order to bring peace, harmony, happiness and success to all the students. Yoga session was conducted on 28th August, 2019. Children got the chance to know how yoga embodies unity of mind, body and soul by performing different yoga Asanas. The session ended with Pranayama and meditation. It was a great opportunity to imbibe the value of discipline. Growing children require good nutrition to build healthy bodies and fight diseases. In order to inculcate healthy eating habits in children, a workshop on "Mindful Eating Habits" was conducted on September 2, 2019 for the students of grades VI and VII. The workshop was conducted in an interactive and fun filled manner. Students were given guidelines related to healthy eating. They were taught the importance of eating slowly and without distraction, listening to physical hunger cues and eating only until one is full. Every student of the MBS International School undergoes health check-up once in a year by the doctors of reputed hospitals. From childhood only the children should inherit the habit of health checkup for early detection and prevention of diseases. The health check up included eye, dental, ENT, pediatric and general. Children were provided the benefit of one-to-one consulation by a pediatrician. Zumba makes exercise fun for ‘everybody and every body’. Zumba Dance Session was total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility. It was a fun session for the students – with exercise being the biggest perk ! This special week shone a spotlight on the great effort our school is doing to improve the health and wellness of it's students and create the link between nutrition, physical activity and learning – because healthy kids learn better!

The school, under the able guidance of Mr. Gulshan Kumar Magon, Chairman, MBS International School and Trustee, KSVN, collaborated with Kumar Sanu Vidya Niketan to organize a musical   extravaganza   on the occasion of Founder's Day celebration of KSVN in the School Auditorium on August 16,2019. The occasion was the celebration of completing seven years of inspirational journey of empowerment and education, in which  Mr Gulshan Kumar Magon played a pivotal and a magnanimous role by transforming  lives and help them in providing free education to underprivileged children.
The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Honourable   Guests of Honour, Mr Gaurav Sharma, World Champion, Power lifting and Mr Varun Sharma, Dr Bharat Jha ,  in the gracious presence of  Mr. Gulshan Kumar Magon, Mr. Sarkar, Chairperson, Kumar Sanu Vidya Niketan, and honourable members and trustees of KSVN.The School Vice Principal, Ms. Rajesh Bano Priya formally welcomed the august gathering comprising distinguished guests,renowned artists,parents and students.
The cultural programme that ensued was a musical bonhomie which featured acclaimed  musicians who   celebrated the power of music. Orchestra and dance performances by students of MBS International School and students of Kumar Sanu Vidya Niketan, themed on the spirit of volunteerism & ‘Service Before Self’,won the admiration of the audience.
The  Guests of honour congratulated the patrons, organizers and the trustees who   envisioned  an all comprehensive free education for children that is based on strong foundation of values and ethics.

MBS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ORGANIZES RIPPLES -2019- AN INTERSCHOOL FEST ‘Lead the scene to keep it green’ MBS International School, Dwarka believes in providing innumerable opportunities to students to sap their intellectual competence with creative endeavours and literary accomplishments. Pursuing with its commitment to imbibe in them the finer nuances of creativity, visual special awareness, fine motor skills and novelty of thoughts, the school organised Ripples-2019 an Inter School event, on August 9,2019 which witnessed participation of students from more than twenty five prestigious schools in Dwarka. Ripples-Live Green, Save Green was our sincere effort to cherish and replenish the lost glory of nature by reducing the detrimental impact of pollution in our environment through recycling activities, earth sciences and arts. The students participated in interesting ‘Save Green’ theme based activities such as Clay Art, Character Dramatization, Best out of Waste, Story using hand puppets, Origami, Create a board game, Short movie making, Declamation and Hindi Poem recitation competitions. 
The Valedictory Ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp in the presence of the Chief Guest, Ms. Deepti Chhabra, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Mechanical and Automation Engineering. The School Principal and School Vice Principal welcomed the distinguished guests and judges for the events, i.e., Mr. Anuj Mahajan, Managing Director, Nuteq Entertainment, Dr.Ajit Singh, an educationist, Mr. Pradeep Singh, an accomplished artist, Ms.Leena, language trainer, Ms. Maria Jalil, a versatile actor,Mr. Pratish T. Prasad, Ms Jyoti and Ms. Isha Nagpal, celebrated Creative Artists, teachers and participants from different schools. The School Chairman appreciated and lauded the performance of the students, while the Chief Guest, in her address, motivated the achievers to strive ahead with an optimistic attitude.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2019-20

 

“Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.” The Investiture Ceremony of MBS International School, was held on 26th July ,2019 with great pomp and dignity in a special ceremony at the School auditorium. The event was presided over by the honourable Chief guest Lt. Gen(Dr.) V K Saxena(Retd.), the School Manager and the Principal. The Investiture Ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, they pledged to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. A spirit of unity and dynamism filled the air as the Grand Ceremony commenced with the Lighting of the auspicious Lamp of Knowledge. The lamp lighting was followed by cultural programmes which motivated the students to awaken themselves, thereby helping others and the nation to awaken. The elected leaders were conferred with badges, sashes and certificates by Honourable Chief Guest Lt. Gen(Dr) V K Saxena(Retd). The School flag was handed over to the officially elected Head Boy and Head Girl by the Ex-Head Boy and Ex-Head Girl that marked the symbolic representation of handing over the responsibility to the new office bearers. The students’ council pledged to hold the school motto of Loyalty, Truth and Honour in high esteem. The Chief Guest congratulated them and exhorted them to uphold the values. Head Boy and Head Girl promised a definite change for the better tomorrow with great conviction in their speeches. The whole stage lit up with vibrant colours of the different flags and the event reinstated the faith in the calibre of future generation. The event concluded by the vote of thanks proposed by the Vice Principal. With the flags held high and heads standing tall, the ceremony concluded with the National Anthem. It was indeed a memorable and proud day for MBS International School.

SCIENCE EXHIBITION 2019

 

“Today’s science is tomorrow’s technology.

With a view to encourage, popularize and inculcate scientific temper, the MBSians showcased their scientific fervor in science exhibition on August 3, 2019. Students from classes IV-VIII portrayed different models in the exhibition. The exhibition spanned all the three branches of science. The models included solar panel, human heart, experiments and working models such as model of generating hydroelectricity, blood purification model, self-sustainable village producing electricity using solar and wind energy, rain fountain, vacuum cleaner, robot cars, rotating solar system, planetarium along with interesting universal facts.
The exhibition not only honed the communication skills of students but also polished their skills in technology and was a step forward towards their all round development.

 ‘‘Graduation is warm memories of the past and great dreams for the future.’’

MBS International School celebrated Graduation Day Ceremony on Saturday, February 23,2019 to commemorate the talents and achievements of the ‘pre-scholars’ in a befitting culmination of their formal years of schooling.
The event commemorated with lighting of the auspicious lamp of knowledge invoking blessings of the Almighty. The Head of the school, Ms. Inderjit Kaur Batra, in her inspiring address, congratulated the prodigies, as she quoted, "Graduation is not the continuum of life, but a series of continuing steps where education and schooling experiences culminate in a beautiful journey called life.”
The tiny tots put up a brilliant display of confidence and charisma, as they presented an endearing dance performance, enthralling   the spectators. The energy and vibrancy was evident as the adorable kids presented an exhilarating Fashion Show, garnering applause from the cheering audience.
It was a moment of pride when the young champions, donning the ‘graduation hats’ were conferred with Citations and Trophies in appreciation for their achievements and talents. 
The parents and guests appreciated the tremendous efforts made by the school in grooming the children, to stride ahead in life.

 
 

FAREWELL 2019

Farewell! a word that must be, and hath been - A sound which 

makes us linger; - yet - farewell!
A nostalgic ceremony on February 10, 2019 marked the farewell day as the school bid adieu to Class XII students. The event marked the beginning of a new journey, a journey  towards their board exams, their college life and finally a prosperous career. The ceremonious lamp lighting by the Head of the school and School Coordinators was an auspicious beginning to the event. The day started on a joyous note as the students reminisced their most cherished and fond memories of the school life. The School Coordinator
welcomed Class XII and wished all the students luck for their future endeavours.
The cultural programme truly touched the hearts of all the students and at the same time made them very sentimental. An exuberant dance performance by the students of class XI brought back all the fun and frolic of the day to the atmosphere. The Head of the School in her address, inspired them to surge ahead and come out with flying colours. It was a momentous occasion for the outgoing batch to receive their citations and titles highlighting their talents and achievements, a nostalgic reminder of their rewarding years in the school.
The students were gifted mementoes, preserving memories and best wishes from all.
A sumptuous lunch and dance party that ensued, left everyone enthralled. The day was a history, with all its zest and zeal!
 
 

EXPRESSIONS 2019

MBS International School, Dwarka celebrated ‘Expressions’ a spectacular display of talent, gait and confidence, on February 9, 2019. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting in the gracious presence of Mrs Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Leader of the House, South Delhi Municipal Corporation, who was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Head of the School, Ms. Inderjit Kaur Batra formally welcomed the august gathering comprising distinguished guests, parents and students.

The invocation dance was a befitting portrayal of rhythm and finesse, invoking the supreme blessings of lord Ganesha. The fusion dance that ensued was a cultural mosaic showcasing the richness of our varied Indian cultures whereas the School Orchestra was harmonious bonhomie which transported the audience to the world of musical symphony. The annual school report chronicled achievements of the school in the domains of scholastic and co-scholastic arena during the year 2018-19. The musical presentation ‘Pied Piper of Hamelin’, a kaleidoscope of brilliance, colour and creativity, garnered much applause and appreciation of all the guests, as they basked in the magic of the talented young actors. Expressions culminated with a grand finale by all the young artists. A vote of thanks proposed by the Primary Coordinator, Mrs Savita Chhillar, acknowledged the efforts of the students. The event lived up to the mission statement of the school which is to empower the mind, body and soul of all the students.
 
 
 
 

WINTER CARNIVAL


The Winter Carnival was held with great enthusiasm and a lot of fun and frolic at MBS International School Sector-11, Dwarka on Saturday,29 December 2018. Mouth- watering food, games, exciting prizes and fun time with friends and dear ones made this event unforgettable. Students visited the carnival with their families as it was open to all. The carnival was inaugurated by the Principal and he was full of praise for the marvellous efforts put in by the staff and students.
With an endeavour to promote scientific attitude amongst the budding students a Science Exhibition was also put up by the students of classes IV to VIII. More than 150 students displayed models.
A very special area that is the Selfie Booth and Tattoo making added glamour to the fiesta. The Buggy Ride was indeed enthralling.
The game stalls such as ‘Ring The Cap’, ‘Pop The Balloon’ etc. were enticing enough to make everybody try their hand at it. The zeal among the students was such that they couldn’t help tapping their feet to the music.
The bright faces and happy smiles were ample proof that the MBS International School Winter Carnival was a great success.

 
 

Ceremonial opening of Dragon Learn.In

MBS International School paves way for students to discover new terrains and widen their intellect for better assimilation and empowered learning. The school partnered with an international e-learning platform, Dragonlearn.in, a large-scale interactive project-the second National Online Competition in Mathematics. It was a matter of honour for school to host the ceremonial opening of the second national online Math Competition "Plus" in the presence of the School Principal, ‘pressed the interactive "Start" button on December 5, 2018. It is an international portal for Mathematics learning initiated for students of five countries namely, Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. Our students of Grade I-VIII enrolled for the assessment which will appraise their mathematical proficiency, besides the reasoning and analytical skills. The online format allows every child to take part regardless of their level of knowledge, social and geographical background. 
A unique learning experience indeed!

 

Grandparent’s Day Celebrations

Grandparents are the precious stalwarts of our families and are instrumental in shaping the fabric of our lives.  To honour our dear Grandparents, MBS International School celebrated Grandparent’s Day on Friday, November 30, 2018 in the school premises.
The celebration commenced with the scintillating invocation dance of Ganesh Vandana followed by lighting of the Ceremonial Lamp.
The children from Classes Nursery to II exhibited a startling presentation of Ballet – Balderdash – The Wizard, A Colourful Bonanza for their Parents & Grandparents.  
Our school advisor Ms. Inderjit Kaur Batra, while addressing the gathering stated that the students should not only be imparted excellent education but also be given great scruple value for the harmonious development.
Mr. Dharampal Bhardwaj, Deputy Chief - Delhi Fire Services was the Chief Guest for the evening.
The vote of thanks was proposed by the Primary Coordinator, Ms. Savita Chhillar.  She stated that such special events allow each child to foster imagination, creativity, communication and collaboration.
The celebration ended on a high note with everyone fully satiated with the love and companionship of each other.
 
 
 

Smt Gyan Devi Memorial Inter School Competition


We are extremely pleased to share with you that MBSians have surpassed others by winning ROLLING TROPHY in Smt Gyan Devi Memorial Inter School Debate Competition held at Adarsh Public School, Vikas Puri.
Our Meritorious Students *Parth Sarthi Sood-VII B, Aryan Vishwkarma-VII C Bagged First Position  with the cash Prize of Rs 1500/- and 1000/- respectively.
Shambhavi Singh-XII A, bagged III position with the cash prize of Rs 1000/- each. Our students have shown a commendable performance in this competition.

 

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION

 “I like being with children and talking to them and, even more, playing with them. For the moment I forget that I am terribly old and it is very long ago since I was a child.” – Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru
The children’s day assembly was conducted on November 14, 2018 at MBS International School to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The assembly was conducted by the teachers in order to show their love for the children.
The assembly began with the thought for the day read by Ms. Niharika . This was followed by a dance performance and a melodious musical rendition by the teachers. An English poem highlighting the importance of childhood was recited by Ms. Radhika. 
 The students enjoyed each and every performance of their teachers. The teachers exhibited immense enthusiasm and inspired all to move ahead in life with confidence and courage.  The function was a delight for the students as they witnessed their teachers like never before. The message conveyed through the various programmes in the function was that the students should enjoy their childhood to the fullest. The celebration was a great success and the students really enjoyed it. It has left the students with wonderful memories to cherish.
The Principal wished the students and encouraged them to participate in all the activities. To add delight to the celebration of Children’s Day chocolates were distributed among the students. The assembly concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony held to recognize the talents of students in various categories for the session 2018-19.
It was a fun filled day for the MBSians, which would always be cherished as a fond memory.

 

SKILL BAZAAR


MBS International School organized Skill Bazaar on November 3, 2018 in the school playground. The event commenced with hearty welcome to the parents and the students. It was followed by the cultural programmes which included semi-classical dance by Niyonika Mathur of Class XI A, Gujarati folk Dance by the students of Middle Wing. The enthusiastic dance troupe of class III A presented a foot-tapping dance to add vibrancy to this colourful event. 
The Skill Bazaar had in hand some of the games stalls , food stalls and Art stalls. The creativity of the students was displayed in the gel candles and diyas kept there for sale. The proceeds of the Skill Bazaar were donated to the charitable organization. 
The happiness and pride in the eyes of the parents was much evident as they witnessed their children performing on the stage. The event was enjoyed by the parents and the students. The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by the anchors Vatsla Kapoor of IX B and Isha Sharma of VIII B. 
 
 
Revels

Pursuing with its commitment to imbibe the finer nuances of Creativity, Visual Awareness, Fine Motor Skills and Novelty of Thoughts in young learners, the school organised Revels-2018 an Inter School Fest on Friday, October 12, 2018 which witnessed participation of more than 300 students from different Play Schools.
The Programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp in the presence of our honourable School Advisor . Our Primary  Coordinator, Ms Savita Chhillar welcomed the distinguished guests, judges and participating schools. 
Interesting activities based on the theme ‘Ocean Gallery’ inspired the students to celebrate the overwhelming and fascinating ocean world.The students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm in different activities such as Ocean Scape, Ocean Treasure Speak, Spin-a-Tale to name a few.

Ms Inderjit Kaur Batra lauded the performance of the students and appreciated the achievers.

 

Fun Races

 “Sports is the greatest physical poetry and music with rhythmic beats.” MBS International School organized Fun Races for Grade Nursery -II students on Friday, October 5, 2018. The theme for the Fun Races was ‘Clean India Green India”. Students were motivated and inspired to Run For Fun.  They were energetic, high spirited and avidly waited for their turns. All students participated with great enthusiasm. They were super excited with all the fun that came along with running the different races. 
 They understood the concept of “Cleanliness is next to Godliness” and learnt to keep their surroundings clean.

 

MOVIE TIME ON GANDHI JAYANTI

MBS International School celebrated Gandhi Jayanti to commemorate birth anniversary of the Father of our Nation-Mahatma Gandhi. Our little MBSians celebrated Bapu’s birthday in school a day prior to, on 1st October,2018 with great zeal & enthusiasm. 
The children were shown a movie on the life of “Bapu”. They were also told that the United Nations also celebrates October 2 as the International Day of non-violence to honour Gandhiji’s belief in peace & non-violence. The tiny-tots of MBS were encouraged to think about the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, analyze the importance & to understand the value of freedom.
Back in the class the children were acquainted with Gandhiji’s image again and the day closed with Gandhiji’s favourite song “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram” resonating in the air.

 

MBS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL PARTICIPATES IN AN INTER FAITH PRAYER MEET

The school brimmed with pride when it got a momentous opportunity to participate in An Inter Faith Prayer Meeting organized by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti on 2nd October, 2018 at Gandhi Smriti, 5, Tees January Marg, New Delhi. The event witnessed spirited and enthused participation of the eleven students, escorted by our teachers, Ms. Seema Wadhawan and Ms. Megha.
The School choir, comprising eleven students, was provided with once-in-a-lifetime to perform live in the presence of Honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Days of vigorous rehearsals culminated in the melodious and heart touching rendition of bhajans and prayers, a befitting homage to truth and reaffirmation of the fact that non-violence was the only answer to all the violence around us.
The organizers resonated profound gratefulness for the stirring and unforgettable experience as the nation joined in unison to celebrate the 149th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and International Day of Non-violence.

 

ON THE SPOT PAINTING COMPETITION

MBS International School ,Sector -11 Dwarka organized “On The Spot Painting Competition-Paint Your Imagination”on September 26,2018.To be creative means to be in love with life amp; enhance its beauty.Transformation of this quality into visual expressions by the budding artists weaving brush strokes of poetry was the main aim of this endeavour. The main thrust was towards stirring the imagination & providing a pedestal for innovation,exploration& aesthetics.

 
 

Ananya Kamboj-Cross Cultural Event: An Indo Russian Friendship Story

The students got an envious opportunity to visit the Embassy of Republic of Russia to participate in a Cross cultural event, organised by BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the embassy to acknowledge the young journalist, Ananya Kamboj, 14 years. Ananya from Chandigarh share her valuable insights from her book “My Journey from Mohali to St. Petersburg”, to inspire our budding writers with her expertise.
The event witnessed luminous presence of dignitaries such as Honourable Mr. Nikolay Kudashev, Russian Ambassador, Dr. Anoop Mittal, Chairman, BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Ashok Singh, Vice Chairman, BRICS, CCI and Dr. BBL Madhukar, Director General of BRICS CCI. 
The event opened novel vistas of learning as they interacted with the prodigy and were apt audience to the rich experience of friendly connection which Ananya shared, reading excerpts from her book. The educative interface left our students enlightened and empowered.

 
 
 
Teacher's Day

MBS International School, Dwarka celebrated Teacher’s Day with zeal and zest on September 5, 2018. There was an unusual excitement in the school atmosphere which was quite contagious. The students of classes XI & XII took over the duties of the teachers for the day. A special morning assembly was held in which the students paid homage to their teachers through poems, speeches and cultural program. The School Advisor Ms. Inderjeet Kaur and Principal  Mr. Atul Wadhawan, Senior Coordinator Ms. Nandita Sikarwar and Junior Coordinator Ms. Savita Chillar were felicitated by the students council. The Principal, Mr. Atul Wadhawan, addressing the entire school, lauded the entire staff for their exemplary contribution to the school’s phenomenal success. He also appreciated the sincerest efforts of the teachers in playing a catalytic role in the holistic development of every student. This was followed by a vibrant dance performance by the students. The day had an emotional and recreational touch. The students did all the preparations with complete energy and excitement. The students gave the title cards prepared by them to their teachers. Talented singers of the school, enthralled the audience with their song. Teachers were touched by the warm gesture made by all the students of the school as they made each teacher feel special on this day. The event ended with national anthem. After dispersal of students there was a ceremonial get together in which cake cutting ceremony took place in the presence of the School Heads and teachers. Many games were arranged for the teachers to add the frolic to the day. Addressing the teachers on the occasion, School Advisor Ms Inderjeet Kaur extolled the role of teachers in a student’s life. In the ceremony, School Chairman Mr.Gulshan Kumar conceded teachers efforts with the Recognition Award conferred by Senior Coordinator Ms. Nandita Sikarwar and Junior Coordinator Ms. Savita Chillar and Ms.Rishu Kaul and Ms. Vidushi Bajaj. The cherry on the cake was Best Teacher Award grabbed by Ms Shiny Benjamin and Ms Neetu Verma. All the teachers were given a small token of love which was followed by refreshments. It was truly a memorable day for the teachers and all the students.

 
 

Janmashtami

The special assembly was held on 31st August,2018 to celebrate Janmashtami. The event was organized by classes 11-C and 2-D. Students of both senior and junior wing participated in many cultural events and were very excited to perform in front of the school. A musical rendition was performed by the MBSians to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna. The performance was followed by a dance performance by class II D. The students were filled with zest and excitement to witness the Nukkad Natak based on the theme of “ Beti  Bachao, Beti padhao.” Lovisha Jain sang a melodious song “Yashomati Maiya” which was followed by another dance performance. The students danced very elegantly. After the cultural events, Prize distribution ceremony took place. Students were felicitated by certificates and trophies for the competition “Mat-A- Magic” and “Jewellery Design”.

 

72nd Independence Day

MBS International School celebrated the nation’s 72nd Independence Day with great zeal and spirit befitting the occasion and remembered with gratitude the sacrifice of the freedom fighter. The commemorations began in the school premises with the unfurling of the National flag by our revered Advisor ma’am Ms Inderjeet, Esteemed Principal Sir Mr.Atul Wadhawan, Senior coordinator ma’am and junior coordinator ma’am and all in unison sang the National Anthem to pay homage to the nation. Students presented a colourful spectacle of music, dance and drama showcasing the struggle to achieve the dawn of Independent India. The spree started with the New India Pledge taken by the students to eradicate poverty and corruption. The celebration continued with a patriotic song by the students of classes VI to VIII which enthralled the audience and filled them with patriotic fervor. Students of class III dramatized and showcased the valour of freedom fighters and paid homage to the efforts of the leaders of independent India. The highlight of the program was the enactment of the Indian freedom struggle named ‘Vande Matram’by the students of different classes. It urged today's generation to value the freedom we have secured after the sacrifices of many. The student of classXI-C expressed her sentiments and aspirations for the country through a speech. A new definition of what independence means for the contemporary India was given with the classical dance act called ‘Jagao Mera Desh’ . A speech by the Principal Mr. Atul Wadhawan aroused patriotic zeal and fervor in the students. He urged that the sovereignty and integrity of the country should be maintained. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.

 
 

 

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

Leaders are the role models who inspire the followers and motivate them to reach the pinnacle of the success. The investiture ceremony of MBS International School, for the academic year 2018-19 was held on 14th August, 2018 in the school auditorium. The ceremony started by lighting the lamp which signifies removal of darkness and the continuous upward movement of the flame denotes the path of wisdom and divinity. It was followed with the prayer and a song by the school choir.

MBS International School was privileged to have Honourable Captain Satendra Sangwan as the Chief Guest of the occasion. The lamp lighting was followed by a dance which motivated the students to awaken themselves, thereby helping others and the nation to awaken. The school council members were conferred upon with sashes and badges by the Chief Guest and the flags were handed over, a symbolic representation of handing over the responsibility to the new office bearers. The oath was administered by the leaders. The Chief Guest addressed the students by asking them to be good leaders, shouldering responsibility efficiently. He enlightened them by stating that they have to be role models to their peer group and set the standards high for their juniors to follow. Narrating his own experiences, he motivated the students to conquer peak  after challenging the peak of success and encouraged them to never give up as it is the lowest tide which rises up to be the highest one. The Head Boy and Head Girl promised a definite change for the better tomorrow with great conviction in their speeches.  The whole stage lit up with vibrant colors of the different flags and the event reinstated the faith in the calibre of future generation. The event concluded by the vote of thanks proposed by the anchors.

It was a memorable day for MBS International School.

3rd Basketball Interschool Tournament

MBS organized one of the highly prestigious 3rd interschool’s Basketball Tournament that lasted from August 9, 2018 to August 10, 2018. MBS received the overwhelming participation of 11 schools who tried to exhibit best of their skills on the field. Every school performed at the best of their capacities.

Although, winning is the utmost desire driving the best of efforts from students, competition could not have thrived without the whole-hearted participation which in turn allowed the participants to recognize their strengths and take cognizance of their weaknesses.

Everyone performed well but Vandana International School, J.M. International School, Dwarka and Venketeshwar International School, Dwarka were knocked out on August 9, 2018.

The 3rd interschool’s basketball Tournament provided a befitting opportunity to all the schools to access their capabilities so as to provide them a comprehensive outlook of their performances.

MBS commended every student that participated and graced the competition with their enthralling and bewitching performances. Every student’s much appreciated effort helped making the tournament a success.

The Tournament witnessed some captivating performances by our enthusiastic young sportsmen. Semi-finals was held between M.B.S International School, St. Mary Public School Dwarka, ITL Public School and Maxfort School Dwarka on August 10, 2018.

Although, everybody performed well, St. Mary Public School, Dwarka won the match by exhibiting par excellence performance. They indeed raised the bar of the Tournament by their amazing performance. ITL Public School scored 2nd position and MBS International bagged 3rd position .

Ripples(Inter School Fest)-2018 

MBS International School, Dwarka believes in providing innumerable opportunities to students to sap their intellectual competence with creative endeavours and literary accomplishments. 

Pursuing with its commitment to imbibe in them the finer nuances of creativity, visual special awareness, fine motor skills and novelty of thoughts, the school organised Ripples-2018 an Inter School event, on August 8,2018 which witnessed participation of around 300 students, from fifteen schools of Dwarka. Interesting space-theme based activities inspired students to celebrate the overwhelming and fascinating nature of the cosmos and to explore some unanswered questions which the universe is perpetually proposing.  The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp in the presence of the Chief Guest, Dr M.C .Sharma, Project Director, UNICEF.The school Advisor welcomed the distinguished guests and judges for the events, i.e., Mr. Anuj Mahajan, Managing Director, Nuteq Entertainment, Dr.Ajit Singh,an educationist, Ms. Kanika Kharbanda, Mr. Pradeep Singh, an accomplished artist, a renowned fashion designer, Ms.Sridevi, a celebrated Creative Artist, Ms. Meena Madan and Ms. Megha Bhatia, soft skill trainers, teachers and participants from different schools. 

The experiential initiative enriched the students as they participated with alacrity in multifarious array of activities such as Constellation Craft, Cosmic Gyrations, Interstellar Sight etc. to name a few.

The School Chairman   appreciated and lauded the performance of the students, while the Chief Guest, in his address, motivated the achievers to strive ahead with an optimistic attitude.

TEACHING STAFF BIRTHDAY DAY CELEBRATION

MBS International school observed the glorification of birthdays of its staff members. Our school Manager, Principal Sir, Senior coordinator & Junior coordinator joined the spree and cherished staff members with a token of remembrance. School Fraternity acknowledged the special days of their staff members and made it memorable for them.      

FATHER'S DAY CELEBRATION

The kindergarteners of MBS International School celebrated Fathers Day on 21st July 2018 at MBS School of planning and architecture. Our junior coordinator Ms.Savita Chillar welcomed our chief guest Ms.Renu Mudgil, Ms. Jyotsana, all the teachers, and parents. The celebrations started with the kindling of the auspicious lamp and “Ganesh Vandana”.Kindergarteners performed on different songs. Students acknowledged their father's dedication, devotion and also the effort made by them in raising and nurturing their families through a skit-“My Papa is the Best”.The games was especially set up for our dear fathers. The enthusiasm was electric as the contestants made a keen pitch! Every time a piece was played out many voices rang out to offer the answer! Alas, only the winners took the gift! Fathers while expressing their feelings on the occasion, appreciated the efforts of school authorities for this unique idea of involving the Fathers in such celebration. They said such type of events help to know their children better and also help them to nurture their relationship in a better way with a difference. Our junior coordinator expressed her joy and happiness and thanked all the Fathers for making the celebration happening. She also appreciated the efforts of students and teachers who all made this day a memorable and overwhelming.

SCHOLAR BADGE AND HONOUR CEREMONY (14th July 2018)

MBS International School, Dwarka Sector – 11 held the Scholar Badge and Honour Ceremony for classes III – XII on 14th July , 2018 , to felicitate exemplary and meritorious students for their academic excellence. The occasion was graced by the benign presence of the Chief Guest, Honourable Maharaj Krishen Bhat and the Guest of Honor, Mr Dinesh Chandra Singhal. The event commenced with the lightening of the ceremonial lamp accompanied by the the melodious rendition of the shloka. The Principal, Mr.Atul Wadhawan, in his address, welcomed the guests and the proud parents of the award recipients. He also applauded the accomplishment of the young scholars and inspired them to continue to work diligently so as to reach the pinnacle of success. The conferring of Scholar badges took place in three slots. After the thought-provoking speech by the school Principal, the students of MBS enthralled one and all with a soul-stirring presentation of the song ‘ Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam’ elucidating the notion of One World One Family. This was followed by the speech given by The Chief Guest. In his speech the Chief Guest congratulated the badge holders and motivated them to keep looking at things with a positive outlook. He also advised the students to learn not to react but to respond. Highlighting the importance of right mind, he asserted that a right mind can either make it , create it or even break things. This was followed by a thought provoking skit that brought to light the pervasive issue of the online world which is on the verge of eventually destroying the relationships between parents and their children. The energetic, lissom dancers of MBS put up a riveting dance performance based on the agriculture and the lives of the diligent and assiduous farmers which was applauded by one and all present. The School Topper of Class XII Board session 2017-2018, Divyansh Shivansh Dwivedi , was also felicitated with Trophy and Certificate. The happiness and pride in the eyes of the parents was much evident as they witnessed their children receive the certificates and scholar badges. The program culminated with the Senior School Coordinator, Ms. Nandita Sikarwar, proposing the vote of thanks.

CULTURAL BONANZA (3rd and 4th May 2018)

Music and Dance binds soul,hearts, emotions and relaxes the mind. Cultural bonanza- a music & dance fest was a confluence of talent , confidence and gait which invited massive participation of students.
The fest began with Solo Dance Contestents who enthralled the audience with their well choreographed performances themed on classical celebration of culture, where solo-singing competition was a treat to the ears, as melodious reverberations of our budding singers echoed in the portals of the school. The mellifluous tones of Indian and western songs were truly motivational and inspiring .
The solo instrumental competition was musical extravaganza of talent and creativity as our young maestros played string as well as percussion instruments with ease and perfection. They were highly appreciated for their tunes and beats on keyboard, guitar,congoharmonium ,table and drums.
The fest was indeed a display of talent, creativity and originality .

 

CYNOSURE

2017-18

                CITATION CEREMONY

MBS International School Dwarka organised a citation ceremony on 25th January, 2018 to bid adieu to the outgoing batch of class 12. The programme was held in the school auditorium and graced by the presence of school principal. The programme commenced with the invocation of God followed by the customary lighting of the lamp which symbolizes the knowledge and guidance students receive at MBS. Thereafter, mementoes were presented to the students by Principal Sir and Senior Coordinator Mam as they walked upto the stage holding lit diyas,shunning ignorance. A heartwarming speech was given by Principal Sir as he recalled the days when the batch had begun its journey in the school and how they had progressed. He blessed them to flourish in the times ahead and counselled them to mark their path wisely, upholding the values of the school. Students also shared their experience at the school as they relived some nostalgic memories and expressed gratitude to their teachers and Principal Sir for their mentorship. A special puja was performed to bless the students for their approaching exams and all future endeavours. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Harsh and Simran of grade XI.

CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL

MBS family organised Christmas Carnival on 23rd December, 2017 for the students to enjoy winter bliss with fun and frolic. Sleigh rides, tattoo artist, and Santa Claus were the major attractions. Besides these children enjoy themselves getting clicked at selfie corner and had tempting eatables. It was real fun which overwhelmed everyone.

SPORTANIA

The thought ‘One Team, One Spirit, Big Success’ was showcased by the enthusiastic young MBSians at Annual Sports Day ,’Sportania 2017’ on 1st December, 2017. The event was graced by Prof. V.K. Bugga, Director MBS School of Planning and Architecture, as the Chief Guest for the Sports Meet. The event started with the unfurling of the school flag by the reverend Chief Guest and Principal thereby taking the salute given by the students in the march past. It was an overwhelming occasion where the students portrayed their competitive spirit and sportsmanship by graceful acceptance of defeat and victory. The students energetically participated in a different races and tug of war. The MBSians believing in the adage, ‘Winners win, Winners lose but Winners play’ – they displayed their true sportive spirit. Respectable Principal, Mr. Atul Wadhawan presented the school report which enlightened the gathering about the heights which MBS has achieved. The outstanding performances of Zumba, skating yoga and taekwondo showed the caliber of the students. Parents enthusiastically participated in the Musical Chair which was exclusively organized for them.

SCHOLAR BADGE

HONOURED FOR BRILLIANCE - In an endeavour to felicitate the academic achievers and meritorious performers, the school organised Scholar Badge Ceremony on 18th November, 2017 for classes III- IX on  18th November, 2017 for academic session 2016-17. The programme commenced with the lighting of the Ceremonial lamp by the auspicious hands of The Hon’ble Chief Guest Ms. Priyanka Singh, Respected Principal Sir, and Coordinators. 27 Students from the primary section and 23 Students from the senior section were felicitated with scholar badge and certificate. The happiness and pride in the eyes of the parents was much evident as they witnessed their children receive the certificates for their proficiencies in various scholastic as well as co-scholastic categories. A PPT on the achievements of the school was screened.

BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

It was a moment of pride for the school to qualify for the Finals of the 2nd Inter School Basketball Tournament, organized in the school premises. 

SKILL BAZAAR

The school ground came alive in vibrant hues in a cultural festivity of talent, creativity, and ingenuity as the school celebrated Skill Bazaar on 14th October, 2017. The students of the Primary section entertained the audience with spectacular dance performances epitomizing the folk culture of India. The NukkadNatak, a somber portrayal of the farmer’s plight, received sincere appreciation, whereas the school orchestra, transported the gathering to a fantasy world of life and music, with their mellifluous rendition.

The gathering, comprising distinguished guests, parents and students, thronged in large numbers to witness the day long merriment, which included fun games such as Break the pyramid, Coin in the bucket, teasing puzzles, joy rides and food stalls serving sumptuous delicacies. The shopping extravaganza added glamour to the event as stalls displaying colorful gel candles, painted diyas, attractive pots, decorative paraphernalia and tie and dye dupattas were put up by students attracting probable buyers. The melee also witnessed Career Counselling sessions and Parent Teacher Meet for all classes.

RIPPLES

The School organized “RIPPLES 2017” - Inter School competition on 23rd August, 2017. Students participated with great enthusiasm as they were provided with wide exposure to exhibit and enhance their inherent talent through participation in various INTER School competitions. The event was true to its meaning ripples as it created waves inside and outside each and every child to perform to the best of their abilities.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

The Investiture Ceremony was organized on 22nd July, 2017 to confer badges of honour to the Students’ Council members. The Ceremony marked a significant beginning of the new academic year, when the newly invested office bearers took oath of allegiance, pledging to shoulder the mantle of leadership and perform the duties towards their alma mater faithfully.
